Game breaking (Possibly system breaking) bug

My game never crashed frequently before the prestige drop. Maybe once or twice and it was only a game crash where it brings me back to the dashboard. This crash kills my whole PS for 10 minutes

Oh right on. I personally only started experiencing frequent crashes to the point where I can't even finish a single game after the prestige update. Do you know if the crashes other users were reporting was regular game crashes that brought them back to the dashboard? Or would it shut down the PlayStation as well?

I'm on xbox one series X and after an hour or 2 of playing my game also crashes ever since the update and it only effects this game. And I have to restart console to fix it.

This seems as close to the same experience as me that I've seen online about it.

Taking Yodas advice there and this came up from google

"If you're experiencing crashes while playing Evil Dead, you may need to tone down your settings. Many games have minimum system requirements to prevent crashes and other issues. Checking your system requirements before purchasing a game is always a good idea."

Can we do that on console?

No consoles don't have them setting as far as I'm aware. It's something to do with update I've had game since just after launch and changed no settings and never had this problem until the most recent patch. Don't like it as it makes it look like I'm quiting halfway through a match which ain't my style I want the points and exp even if I loose.

It's not only PlayStation though. As you can see the person who commented above you is playing on Xbox and they have the same, system crashing experience I'm having.

I know how you feel. I'm one of the random ppl you meet in solo queue who talks on mic. So I'll be coordinating over mic then all of a sudden I leave them. They must be confused af

fixing bugs and balancing the game

these developers take half a year lol
