the moment you get a support rerun is probably when you have more powerful character AND a support for it, which you will want too
so, you either get stuck in an endless loop of "i'll pull support for this character later", or skip couple of updates, to bet on a future characters and make a complete team
cuz there's no support side-grades nor 4* replacements

in 1.0 and 1.5 that weren't the problem because i thought that game doesn't have enough characters due to it being a new game, and there will be more in the future

you can't really lvl up a weapon, you can lvl up a slot, and weapon arts, and it's easy to do at least for the first 75 "account levels" which is now a lvl cap for next 2-3 weeks
and everything else that you can lvl up, either lvling up on the background, cuz you have enough resources to just click on it, by just exploring(and it's usually one time thing to lvl up), or doesn't matter at all, like inner ways, which you can "lvl up" but it gives minor improvements and you can't really "grind" materials for that either

Microtransactions themselves aren't an issue. They can really enhance the playability of a game if done correctly. When done in a way that almost forces you to buy it or suffer a purposely made slow progression system that makes you feel forced to buy microtransactions....then that really stinks
Take the outfits in ToF. Has ZEEEEERRRROOOOOO gameplay affect. It doesn't make you stronger or weaker. Just a neat outfit.
If we all bought ToF as a full priced game and they STILL did the whole gacha system for weapons and actual gameplay affecting items....yeah that would be a massive problem. But ToF is free so it's okay
To be honest...If ToF wants to make some actual consistent money outside releasing bikini outfits...They should make the warp servers P2P. The Gacha servers can be free but the warp servers in which it works like a normal MMORPG should be monthly subscription locked.
