I'd also recommend levelling up Ki attributes first. Heart (Maximum Ki/Stamina) and Courage (Ki Recovery Speed and Ki Pulse)

And don't forget, you can chain dodges at Low Stance even when blocking. Best for if you don't know what to expect from a boss

They usually become very important once you go to NG+1 or +2 when you get Divine set bonuses for sets that trigger crazy af effects on Ninjutsu hit

Also @ember roost there's a Ninja Gaiden boss but only after you finish the story

Luckily he can drop the entire Hayabusa Clan armour set, or the Dragon Sword

Or if you're extra lucky, he can drop the Smithing Texts for them so you can craft them instead of grind the boss fight for them

Also he can drop the Combat Arts for the ultimate fire Ninpo from NG3, or the Izuna Drop (replaces the Sword/Dual Sword finisher attack on a zero stamina enemy from a simple stab, to the Izuna Drop)

Same damage as any other finisher but looks cool and if you're quick, just in time to perform a ground finisher on an enemy as they get up

Dual Katanas are arguably faster and can deal a ton of damage with some spammy skills like Water Sword and Random Slice. Once you get God Of Wind, try and get better at the timing because it'll obliterate most enemies, especially Revenants (other players' ghosts)

Odachis are fun as well. Has the reach of a spear with the crowd control of a Kusarigama. The attacks are slower but some skills invalidate human enemies trying to block your attacks (will literally break their guard and turn into a finisher if the guard break zero-Ki's them)

kinda a weird thought
but the hardware market crashing might benefit tof a lot
to a lesser extent nte as its already weirdly highly optimized for what it is
but i can kinda see studios going for safe reliable remasters and not much being announced next year
i dont see us getting a ps6 in the current market, and at the insane rate this is going i wouldnt be surprised if the steam machine was canceled (or if they do the switch thing of just having 10% of stock until things hopefully improve meaning barely anyone can get it)
if someone's ram fails, i can see them just dropping to 1/2 sticks
like at the rate this is going, this is absolutely not a normal crash and ai bubble will likely be propped up too much until it bursts in two years, and even then prices will take ages to stabilize

You just have to get used to Nioh's speedy bullshit, especially when bosses move and attack at like triple your attack speed

But look, it is entirely possible. You just need to learn his moveset. One bit of advice I can provide is if he goes into the Iai stance, it can either be the spinning forward slash, or the single strike (usually an instant kill)

The cheese option is to just stock up on a ton of Amrita stones and pop them during the battle to fill up your Guardian Spirit meter and go Living Weapon mode to beat him up

Just bear in mind that Nioh 1 is notorious for being unforgiving. Makes Nioh 2 feel like a daycare centre

i imagine steel path lvl at the very least 1k, or endgame bosses
you don't need to tank something that can be killed pretty easily, and can't kill you in one shot

well, you can use arcane nullifier with it, but it's easier to just play rhino or gara and never die anyway, without sacrificing two arcane slots for it
