Oh in the second beta there were relics (called secret letters) that you were able to get them from weekly bosses and get randomly from missions but it was weapon exclusives, they already said that so I can say it you can farm characters from said secret letters

There are few tricks but the easiest one is having a nuke mirage friend to help or be said mirage nuke but you need friends

Considering that Warframe has been around for 12 years with a massively dedicated community around it and a wholesome developer studio behind it, that is an astronomically high bar for any game to beat in regards to games these days.
Trust me, with how the game is run and how the community is with my 7 years of personal experience, any free to play game- much less any game of the category its in- has a next to impossible chance of being better than it.

I used a level 2 molt for a year since the zaramin came out the arcanes are good but I understand the want it to be farmable while not wanting it to be too good (I hated farming arcane energize before scarlet spear )
