Ok let me break it down a little in the beta almost every mission (our version of domain but it’s not just kill x amount of enemies to complete) and boss fight gave a secret letter (secret letter = relic) of sort there were chaos order and neutral (for warframe players it’s the lith meso neo categories) that had weapons parts to craft even limited 5 star weapons and to open them we do a specific mission called covert missions that after completion the letter is open and we get a random reward from the letter drop pool and again it was weapon specific , now from what I guess because I have no information they added a daily/weekly mission that drop character specific letters , since they didn’t say anything about it I think the character specific letters you get a limited number of each day/week while weapon letters you can get it infinitely
