my main concern is updates were kinda already small beforehand and i think they have a big team/budget
so if they do start struggling for a few patches wont quality just decrease further and spiral etc
i kinda have the same thoughts about most of the big ones though
like if this is them at their best, largely stagnating, then any slipup could cascade
a lot of games could could staff numbers and keep going but these are already very large expensive projects

The increase in pity is just standard greedy executive stuff, Tribe Nine died because of it's awful rates on release which drove everyone away and another game I really liked died for similar reasons.
I found out from a JP player than on release, in this gacha, a 12 pull cost the equivalent of $100 with rates being 0.5%, by far the greediest gacha to exist.
the boycott is hopefully teaching the Nikki execs that you don't mess with pity after release
