Tbh the tof community is way better than the genshin community and the wuwa community in a nutshell. the entire time I was in the genshin community I don’t think I ever saw people from here coming over there to cause trouble but there was plenty of the members from the other communities “genshin, pgr,Wuthering waves” I saw going to other games discord servers and in the game itself to stir up trouble like they were somehow superior to them.
As for the voice actor thing I’m surprised that those people even still have a job in 2025 it would be more cost effective for studios to use ai to voice the entire game off one of their employees using AI to generate the various voices off the employee who’s already on the payroll. Ai voice generation is getting to an obscene level of realism these days.
If I was making a game I’d probably spend the 20k on a dedicated ai system and go in house for the vocals and not even hire someone from outside at whatever they are per hour.
