first season was such a disappointment, imo
and long break didn't make it better at all
they should have released it without cutting it to small 12 series seasons

I also did some personal stuff recently I went to a plastic surgeon bc of my arms I absolutely despise them wbu no matter how much I got to the gym they still look wide a few days later it’s been years and they just don’t improve
yet they’re not fat or saggy arms per say just wide arms aka a wide width than normal size
Anyways it was a consultation for a fat transfer he said my arms could be used to fix my
problematic imperfect boobs since it’s not much I need for them but nonetheless it will shrink my arms to a normal size and fix my boobs

I don’t smoke and o think my arms are really good for my age elasticity wise and age wise not a single wrinkle a lot of ppl the doctor have seen look their age and while that’s not bad it is better that I do look younger than most
Plus since I only need Minimal removal it’s a quicker healing time
Since I want it the be placed elsewhere and minimal cutting it isn’t as invasive as getting implants

Probably the only incentive (design wise) to not allow consoles to be used as PC's, despite that they're more or less a completely capable computer at this point -- is that there's low profit margins on the consoles themselves. If they had more usage, then more people would buy them.
Flipside, there's nothing stopping a company like Sony to sell desktop-software through the PSN Store or to adopt a business model that makes that work.

There was a point where Steam was purely 'games'.
Steam as a platform has been moving away from this, and actually does offer other applications now.
Either way, it makes sense whenever you think of where Valve is going -- far as future foresight here -- being that the Deck has a desktop environment, and Steam-Machines (desktop counterparts) will make more use of that than handheld consoles one-day.

I'd hope not, yet there could be vendor / platform lock-in. So far you're allowed to do pretty much anything on the Deck though.
Playstation? You're right in that you'd likely have to get software purely from their store.
That is, if this hypothetical situation ever were to happen that it's allowed to be more than just a game-console.

ROCm I'd say is more like CUDA. Not 1:1 interchangable with CUDA, yet fairly close.
DirectML and Olive do actually (Microsoft's standards).
Of course the bulk of software is built around CUDA in the AI space.
Depends what it is that you're trying to run. Alot of it has gotten much better on AMD hardware. e.g, if you were to try Ollama {software} today -- it'll just work.
My experience has been a direct reversal, yet I'm more a proponent of building a system specifically for AI -- if that's your focus.

Definitely worth waiting. I don't believe the VRAM is going to be bumped this generation, yet the encroachment on 8GB (in many titles) for even 1080p gaming, and the improvement of AMD's APU's probably is going to get some type of bump in mid tier consumer hardware.
Or rather, has to come fairly soon. Integrated performance on Strix Halo should push the industry forward.
