you need to spend a ton of resources to even see what substats your echo gets

Gachas on C drive is not advised. These things grow like dogs as the years pass, and they all have some form of intrusive software or other. Best to keep it on an internal SSD (likely D drive) or an external HDD (likely E drive)

What I have seen/heard is that in general SFX is a little bit buggy - e.g. output from story quest (not cinematic) for dub is not at the same level as the general voice output (combat, idle)
this can be fixed for some players by checking that Windows should not handling it with spatial audio or turning off windows sonic

Also the combat in HSR (have not touched Genshin in ages) is really simplistic in addition to being braindead. A basic attack, an ult, and a skill. No guarding, no ability to use items during a fight, no additional attacks gained as you level up. Any half decent turn based rpg has way more going on than this.

Regardless of the time it takes or how fun it is, the very fact that it exists in the first place implies that Mihoyo is focused on finding ways to extend the player's playtime in mobile-friendly ways that take almost no resources to develop instead of just focusing on replayable action content in their damn action game. Just like how Genshin's endgame is mostly unskippable cutscenes (easy to develop) and silly minigames (easy for mobile players) that don't make use of the game's cool combat system, even though combat kits are mainly what differentiate characters from each other. The characters that players spend months grinding for to pull and level.

also the fact that tof is online :3 of all the MMOs the worst downfall but thats just for streaming, playerbase was still good

tof had pretty high numbers at launch

main issue though is that wuwa is a huge huge team

which is costly to run

tof was a small skeleton team at start and mostly using recycled assets from scrapped other projects

not to mention in a giant free release window

ww kinda has all the enviromental factors stacked around it so if first update isnt a ton different than its too close to gi state people wont give it a second chance

i mean even now you have people bringing up tof 1.0 stuff and acting like it never changed etc but even then its pretty clear that it was trying to do stuff differently

if 1.0 impression of ww is all people are left with even if it improves its much worse (and thats a big if on the improvements)

not to mention we got accelerated cn stuff

Just brain dead development for brain dead gameplay (might makes right. If your comp can pull numbers, it can pull wins). If there was any sort of brainwork involved (no, making an optimal comp doesn't count. Not in the least), things would have made a lot more sense as to why they're making it

Genshin isn't any less guilty, but holy hell HSR just takes the cake in space. Slap on massive amounts of HP, a shield phase, and mechanics inventively made to make us lose while not giving us anything just as inventive to work towards (unless you spend money for better Eidolons)

The more I think of it, the less impressed I am with Hoyo, honestly

If you had an agility stat that determines hit chance and dodge chance, you could do so much with that. Heck, could even release a character that can go big or go home in a playstyle where taking a single hit can break you

Also a lot of people are miffed about Kuro employing an anti-cheat system called ACE or something, apparently being an in-house anti-cheat from Tencent. I dunno about you but that already concerns me. Apparently it stays on your device long after the game is uninstalled
