Your character name might have extra #<insert number> behind it if there's duplicate and your character is the younger one.
After merge, each region will only have 1 server. So be nice to other people from other server.

If that device RAM is 8GB, should not. Unless it really have small free space after installing the game like below ~5GB.
This game overall size usage :

• ~15 GB for game size ( current patch )
• ~5 GB for game operation
• ~15 GB for updating game ( previous patch )
  So in total ~50 GB free space is required when the device is without the game and about ~35 GB with the game.

If the free space is still big, clean the game cache ( not game file ) and try again. Also try to check the UHD setting of the device, turning on off could impact the app crash and overall performance.

Looked through the log file :D 3625 lines, only uses remote config here so I guess I have to switch to Steam. Now the real question is that why isn't there an option for unlimited fps in the game by default and why do users who wish to uncap fps have to go through such pain.

So who was the genius of merging servers? We are all stuck with 5+ smaller servers and are they toxic. Spamming the chat and making things in-game a lot worse, bosses snatched, massive lag, delays on logging in PvP group instances undoable... Even the channels hit over 100 per server. Reverse this. The lack of good players and hostility is finally bear fruit. In time these server will start to hate eachother and yup a ToF Civil War will ensure.

Best advice is go to the server and see for yourself, then see if you can remove 3 of the 5 server you merged us with. Aimanium was supposed to be the last Free Haven is case a server was too overcrowded.

Thanks to Hotta Staff this is no longer the case. Like i said before, we will not stay lying on our backs, we are gonna Execute Order 66. As in a star Wars reference, should the devs not step in and fix this major list of issues brought with the servers merging.

(Also like i said, it still is, Cheaters still rule PvP) Critical Abyss, Break From Destiny and ApexLeague and any PvP related content is still not worth it, you promised, atleast one of your members to take action, but had someone check and the site is still active. Nothing happened. I do not know if something went wrong at a point in your carreer as a staff member.

Also there is one last small thing... When we have event Red Nuc drops make sure if it hits 80 we get the portrayed character and not a random SSR we have no use for. We get Randoms from Gold and Black, not Red. Fix this too if you would, Servers Wide.

Transfer card is only limited to the region you play in, but after merger, the servers should still be there, however all servers are part of the main server, so wichever you choose. You will enter the same Region server through another entrance wich was the server you would normally transfer to. In short, you can for instance transfer to Eden on EU from the Lumina, but after the merger of all servers. you end up on the same server you are on now.

It is possible if he got to Vera via other teleport means like clicking the start Vera story on Task tab or click the Vera Story tab in terminal. Thus can skip the Claire talk part.
That part is still a buggy mess that either player restart account or go through and clear all the story and missions that involves Claire to make her not occupied.

Cuz Dr. Claire at the Vera portal is not a separate NPC but a shared NPC.
So if she is involve in any mission (story and side missions), she just get occupied in another area.
So check if there's any side missions on Cetus island and finish them completely. Search for Claire in center of theme park and her lab.
Probably need to ask customer service for technical support in resetting your account on that part if everything done did not work.

processor is good, but if using onboard gpu, bottlenecked by gpu power and RAM size.

Enlarge your OS swap file size, set to like 150% of default value as minimum and 200% of default value as maximum.
Reboot, then empty these folders to reset the setting :

Try the game using minimum graphic setting while maintain 30 fps, if not crashing too often, try with 60 fps.

Hi! I'm having trouble with the recent update. Unfortunately, during the recent Tempest server maintenance, my username was changed from Dismal to Dismal#d without my knowledge. I only found out about this after I logged back on after the update. I tried to use the 'Name change Card' to change my username back to Dismal, but could not do so. When I inquired customer service about this, one employee said that there was another account on the same server with my original username. I showed multiple screenshots and video proof that I am the owner of said-username, but the employee didn't do anything to help me. Can someone please help me?

No, if you want to transfer to steam, you need to bind your current login to steam 1st before downloading steam version.

As your dc / fps issue :

• check amd control panel, make a profile for TOF game and set the setting to application controlled.
• open TOF launcher top right menu -> system -> set directx to dx12
• change TOF in game setting fps to 60 fps ( as trial ) while lowering the rest to low.
• if not experiencing dc, go ahead and increase the graphic setting.
• if experiencing dc :
  • restart the modem, so isp can give fresh ip
  • set 8.8.8.8/1.1.1.1 as dns at network adapter setting
  • open cmd with run as administrator , then type ipconfig /flushdns
  • if current isp do not have bandwith issue with the server, should no longer dced every now and then.

if currently they are just too tired with twin names and just use quick solution by giving free name change.... I doubt it, you can keep pushing, but personally I have doubt. The current merge is too big.

UHD 600 drivers are new enough that they can technically run Tower of Fantasy {though "run" being an interesting description here}. I actually played around with a similar setup to this on one of the 6" Pocket-Book class machines for the fun of it.

Was not a good experience- The J4105 can support sufficient memory to run the game, and it is stable ... yet, it's just very low performance -- sometimes in the 5fps range.

@merry mica -- Also tagging you for reference here, since it was your question. If the RAM is not soldered and upgradable, the system can "run" the game. {note quotes around "run"} However, that's about where this ends- Realistically speaking you'd need a higher end notebook for a playable experience. The J4105 is sufficient to stream the game from a higher end rig though as a thin-client. {e.g, via Parsec or Steam Remote Play}

Even if the same cellular carrier worked on Android, especially if this is an iPhone -- it's a common occurrence for mobile data to not correctly work for the game, and for server connection to fail on developed characters (past fresh ones where the initial exchanged data has increased). Merger could migrate characters to a new server so to speak, yet that server should be within the same region as you played before. Make sure that you're trying your Google account as both "gmail" (plain old email) and via the Google Icon (external sign-in provider).

If you click on the displayed / selected server at the bottom of the landing screen (before signing into a world), there's a selection that displays available characters. However, there's a few people who have also reported their character "not showing" in this category post-merger, some of whom had their character appear after successfully completing a sign-in on the merged server one time.

If you're on the Windows / PC client, you might also try wiping the contents of the following folders (depending which launcher rendition of the game that you're using -- e.g, Steam / Standalone respectively) with the client and launcher fully closed beforehand:

First, I don't like smart... it supposed to lock on the nearest enemy but for me it's like RNG target lock

It is not possible to log out from the Epic Games variant of the launcher {despite that the launcher gives the impression that this is possible}. Just to add here quickly, automation, macro, and similar 3rd party utilities that interact with the game (such as sending input to the game) are not allowed under clause (c) of Player-Conduct of the user-agreement. If an input device comes with buttons beyond the traditional LMB, RMB, MMB, and XMB1 / 2 side button pairs -- where there is no way to access those buttons and where the device's software has to be used to assign them to standard inputs. These should be kept to 1:1 bindings where one input on the device is translated to no more than one output.

Whether or not this will work with the game purely depends on how the mouse's config software implements its bindings.

One of the case of crash can be caused by using different RAM speed + brand ( even same speed, better to use same brand ).
Let's assume they are the same speed and brand just different size.
Spec is good enough.

check at app data folder for these folders :
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Hotta

if they are exist, delete their content.

Start again the launcher, go to top right menu -> choose system -> set directx to 11.

If still crashing :

• check if there's 3rd party antivirus, need to add tof whole game folder and its exe into exclusion setting.
• do a file repair via launcher, menu is under launch button.
• make sure to try the game after restarting pc in case there was previously game running with anti cheat but didn't close / still running at background

• do a windows repair with :
  run cmd with right click - run as administrator

Yes, the iphone part become increasingly not optimized unless you use ipad air with M chip rather bionic one. ( even that is still question able for future patch )
Can only recommend to restart device before starting to play the game.
If you have good internet speed, try reinstalling.
The problem with IOS is, cannot clear a game cache unlike android.
Clearing the cache is to soft restart the client, so broken graphic configuration can be fixed by the app create a new one.
No idea if IOS have 3rd party to help doing that.

Clear the game cache, not game files, just the cache via setting -> app, there should be option for that.
Then restart your android.
That should help with the crash and bugged icon.
For further crash issue, try to change the device display setting. If there's setting for an app display setting, try change into UHD / HD / normal, see which one is more stable at your end.

Most android user easily solved their crash with simply cleaning the game cache.
That UHD / HD setting mostly related to frame rate.
And no, no idea why that folder is empty.
Are you playing with maxed setting ? Also test with display app fullscreen mode or non fullscreen mode. See if that effect the stability.
Check the battery setting as well, if the device support individual battery setting for an app, try to increase battery usage for the app, see if that stabilize things at your end.

Hallo everyone, i've had what seems to be a bigger issue than i expected.
Basically first 2 hours of gameplay i had access to Vera, and being the noob i was i saw shiny portal and went there, which made the vera story quest go on, even tho i really wasn't that far in the game.
So for some reason, the "end of the day" quest didn't finish itself when i finished it.
I don't have the adventure tab button on my screen, never had it.
The only way i can go there is from my backpack with a weird manipulation, and when i get there it tells me that i can't do mia's kitchen and daily bouties because of the "end of the day" quest not technically being done.
I now have legit acces to vera, as i just finished the entirety of Aesperia quests (chapter 6).
i think i'm far enough to have access to vitality stuff so i'm guessing that's just a bug, but i explain it here because i'm not sure.

Far as if it matters, the user profile (Windows directory folders that were lost) contained the cache of your login details. In otherwords, probably the account that you're on just isn't the one that holds the characters.

If you're unable to find the correct login, you'll likely need Customer Support's involvement here to find out what the proper sign-in details are.

When trying to login again make sure 'stay logged in' option is not marked.
This will make you not auto logged into the game.

To bind your account to infinite pass, simply use launcher top right menu -> account, should five you option to bind to infinite pass.

Whenever the game window appears hung, if this happens again -- please wait 2-3 minutes. There's a 120 second watchdog when the rendering thread hangs and the engine might collect a crash-dump. If you're able to provide such a crash dump, then I'd of course be happy to take a look at it to see what the game is doing when it went down.

Most of the time that I've seen 'freezes' {no frame pump / window fading out or the OS declaring it "unresponsive"}, they either coincide with a TDR / display driver crash (would be visible under the "System" tab of the Windows Event Viewer) -- or are caused by some form of software interference {other applications that install hooks in the game process}.

Connection problem :

• Lower the amount of rendered character, depend on internet bandwith, 5 could be the best. Smart servant / alyss user are the biggest culprit for bandwith problem. ( due to the game netcode / engine )
• restart modem and router so isp can give fresh ip.
• set dns with 1.1.1.1 / 8.8.8.8 ( cloudflare / google ) at windows network adapter setting
• open cmd with run as administrator and type ipconfig/ flushdns

Not sure if you and Keyy above you are within same region or even same isp. If one of them is yes, there's probably bottleneck somewhere within traffic toward the server. And yes, that will be beyond your power or us to troubleshoot.

Lol no I didn’t need 50GB. I just said 5 times now I have been able to play the game and got it to work, idk why people are still replying to this hours later 😅

I’m not on pc where it’s that big. I’m on iPhone, it worked fine once I had 25gb of space.
