Okay, so there is a program called task manager, open that, so go to your search bar, search task manager, once that is open, at the top you should see something called performance, click on that and scroll down until you see something that says gpu 0, click on that, and then on the right side it should say the name for example AMD or Nvidia etc

you will be in danger with a custom account either you log in or not. Custom account are the most unsafe thing ever. There have been multiple wave of account theft starting from last month.
I don't know how you can secure your account once and for all, but know that as long as you are using a custom account you are at risk of being hacked.
And we still don't know if the hacking as been solved since it's been 10 days from the last wave of hack and the support/Dev don't tell us anything except that we have to wait, and wait, and wait.

Why am I keep getting keep getting kick out of the game due to Connection issue. I try reenter the game but I keep getting Connection failed? my Router and My Pc is Normal. In otherwords, an account is only as secure as the least secure sign-in method bound. If you're using a sign-in method with TFA, then unbinding your plain-old-email is recommended to maximize account security.

It somehow got solved, not sure how, but these are the extra steps I did:

1. Reinstalled the game - tried getting in, issue persisted
2. Installed on phone and played as normal and there was no issue.
3. Tried repair/check once again, no issue was found once again.
4. Started game as usual and it was working.

So I am unsure what exactly fix it since it wasn't fixed right after reinstall or the first repair attempt. Logically it makes no sense that playing on phone would do anything either but atleast it worked.

In the case of abrupt game closures, usually the engine captures a 'crash-dump' {in the location that I was asking be checked}. The video you linked looks like an anti-cheat related BSOD -- those are unfortunately a lot trickier to troubleshoot.

There's a large variety of game crashes, most of them have different causes. Some of them we've managed to work through and find solutions. In the abrupt closures, the crash-dumps tend to shed some light on what's happening.

Yep, you can unbind your Google Account if you'd like {while logged in through the Facebook}, and use a single universally supported sign-in method between all of your devices.

Just remember to make sure whatever sign-in methods that you're using are secured, and have TFA (Two Factor Authentication) enabled.

Following the hard-crash, reboot, and getting stuck at the Windows boot screen -- you also attempted some form of a restore / reset of the drive, right? -- Which the boot issues persisted even after.

• Do you have access to a Windows Install media? It may be necessary in a situation like this to reinstall the OS. Before considering anything like that, also try booting in safe-mode -- if you haven't already done so.

Mostly am curious on how you're attempting to factory reset the device. e.g, if this is an OEM / system builder provided recovery partition, or via Windows' feature.

I have recovery option so I just roll back to previous update. But what makes me curious, this happened only when playing ToF. I did play other gacha games and it never gives this issue. I did able to bring back the windows by picking system recovery that is a bit older but yeah, maybe it's the game itself?

Have yet to hear of corruption being induced from the game. Performing a recovery point rollback might indeed undo or repair OS damage from a bad-crash, yet I'm not quite sure that's the case here.

Even with people who've bluescreened dozens of times, or had repeat hardlocks that I've been in troubleshooting with -- their system tends to remain bootable.

Next time that this happens, I'd ask you to try an F8 boot into safe-mode if you can. If that works, then trying to just reboot (standard boot), after reaching safe-mode once. It might be necessary to enable boot-time logging to see where things are getting stuck.

@spring merlin, @pastel schooner -- You probably already have, yet it's a good idea to double check and make sure that you're logging into the correct account and server. You might also want to try another device, especially in the case of mobile and a Google sign-in method.

Unfortunately if all of that has been tried, and you're absolutely certain of the sign-in method -- then you'll need to contact customer support in this sort of situation in order to have your account investigated. Since the ingame helpdesk is not accessible without logging in to a character {and being that your game-account may be unlinked from your sign-in method} you can use email for contact.

Frigg's weapon puts a field down that makes you not consume dodges, but if you dodge right as you cast the skill you will cancel the skill consuming it but not putting out the field. The thing is the first thing your going to want to do is dodge once the field is out so I almost always end up canceling my own field

Personally suspect that it's intentional {the domain coming out after the completed animation sequence}. There's instances where you want to break out of the iframe window to pursue a player in PVP, yet doing so early prevents the domain from being dropped.

You can always provide feedback on this and recommend that a player not be allowed to interrupt Frigg's animation, or -- to suggest the domain effect be applied early. Just keep in mind that dropping the domain earlier would increase damage output and be a buff to the character {cancel early to build the buff faster, and pursue quicker}, while removing early exit of the animation could be seen as a nerf {delaying pursuit}.

• Far as timing goes, try to train yourself to watch for your player contacting the ground before dashing.

Of course, being that there's OS and driver updates, and a variety of software changes involved on machines --- it's hard to say what change it is that alleviates each person's situation.. Especially as for some people the lockups are entirely intermittent and may not happen on some days {such as following game updates or OS updates}.

Have heard many false positives where it's claimed to be fixed, and then happens again.

• On the otherhand, there's several people who have been going weeks now without a crash.

@sudden scarab -- Officially there's no option to disable motion blur {no ingame settings such as post processing quality will disable such}. We would advise that you file #932914069395091456 suggesting motion blur settings be added to the game, and recommend against tinkering with the game's files (even config files) outside of if instructed to by support or a pinned message.

@fickle lagoon -- Unfortunately not, you'll need to sacrifice either the experience, or the matrix {rather than getting the upgrade benefit}. There's no way currently to separate exp from matrices without some form of loss.

If you move up to a more modern card on the NVidia side, the game uses Unreal Engine's NGX feature / DLSS {which the 1650 super does not support}. Anything from a 2070 onward should be able to handle that framerate {at all times}, with this active. 2080+ would be able to handle it at true native with NGX disabled. If you go into NVidia's 30XX generation, then you could knock that requirement down by a tier.

6700 XT on the AMD side should also suffice horsepower wise. Bear in mind that NGX is inactive on AMD hardware, and the requirements are thus higher.

You could get away with lower if you're willing to accept framerate dipping at times. You definitely do not need hardware that high end to hit full framerate at max settings in instanced content, for example.

-- Note that this is not considering future features such as raytracing, which obviously raise the requirements.

Wanderers might faced a problem of having a fresh progress If they have registered an email account using the "New user?" feature and have attempted to login by clicking on one of the platform services on the bottom of the login screen.

The previous progress can be retrieved by logging into the game without using the platform services.

Note: Registering through "New user?" and via the platform services are 2 different methods.

@merry kernel -- Future-proofing all boils down to what you consider "acceptable framerates" with the newer features. I'd be doubtful that you'll be able to add raytracing at 1440p while at very high framerates on a 3060 Ti, yet you should be able to get a decent experience with it enabled - especially with DLSS.

• Without those features, that's a great card for the resolution in pretty much any games.

Far as the streaming goes: Your 1650S does have hardware NVENC support, which streaming software can utilize to offload most of the encoding strain. You'll get a newer rendition of the hardware-encoder by moving up to a newer generation card, and should be fine without adding more CPU cores. Unless you opt to use an unsupported codec by the 30 series such as AV1, or try to go for higher quality in your streams, the graphics card will do most of the work.

First thing to look at investment wise is probably if your Internet Connection is going to handle streaming well.

@stoic swan -- What type of game crashes are we talking about here? I see Throttlestop mentioned -- are these crashes of the just the game, or the entire system?

Presuming it's just the game, and that the game is intermittently / abruptly closing:
Take a look under "%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Hotta\Saved\Crashes" and see if you see any folders in this location.

If you can archive the most recent of them {e.g, with winrar, winzip, 7zip, etc} and send me them (via DM's), would be happy to take a look and see if we can figure out what's happening.

If possible, try the use of cellular. The 90% loading stalls can be connection oriented, especially if they abruptly started.

First, try to isolate if this is connection caused. If it is and if it persists (doesn't clear up on its own), then for a long-term solution, you'll need to contact your Internet Provider and Tower of Fantasy's support.

In the case of the ISP, you'd want to explain the service that you're having connectivity issues with (e.g, mention Tower of Fantasy), and when contacting Tower of Fantasy's support, you'd want to provide details on your ISP / where you're connecting from [along with your IP address].

^ The goal is to have both ends (your Internet Provider and Tower of Fantasy's support) look at routing in each direction.

Okay so I'm having an issue where after I click to start the game from the main menu, where I have the choice to select the server I play on. During the loading screen it'll get anywhere between 67% and 90% and then the game just straight up closes. I've tried setting the game to windowed, lowering the graphics, hitting "Repair" in the launcher, turning off the firewall (Which worked for a sec then stopped) excluding the TOF files from the Firewall. But I get the same result. Is there anything I'm missing? It was working perfectly last night but now I can't play it at all.

I managed to log with my cellular data but still couldn't with my WiFi (same issue of loading stuck at 90% and kicked back to server) and the weird thing is I'm only having issue on the Nova server which is where I play on, I tried creating characters on other servers and could log into them just fine even when connected to my WiFi. So I suppose they actually have different hosts for different servers.

I've tried contacting the support and my ISP, my ISP couldn't find any issues while the support suggested a lot of troubleshooting steps to try on my PC such as DNS, antivirus, firewall, deleting the Hotta folder, even editing the gamesettings.ini, and to try using a VPN but the same problem still persisted.

I provided them with my IPv4 and ISP details but they couldn't do any sort of routing from the server, just a weird issue when I've never had the issue happening until now.

All of the servers in a region are within the same datacenter location. Routing between all of them should be similar in that respect.

However, as you play the game, acquire items, progress, complete quests, and other activities -- these add to the amount of data associated with your character on a given server. While you can connect to other servers in the region, these servers likely have less data exchange during the initial connection. {in that the other characters are 'fresh'}

For instance, if you were to make a new account, and create a new character on that account, on Nova -- odds are that this would work.

If you kept playing on that character, though, eventually the same problem would manifest.

I had the same problem. What you have to do is logout and then when you're about to enter your email and password, don't do it. Instead select the platform you used to bind you account and then you can enter your ID and password.

Your game-account is "loosely associated" with your sign-in method {Google, Facebook, Twitter, Apple, Custom Account [plain-old-email] }. A game-account can be bound to multiple sign-in methods in tandem -- and also migrated between them through binding and unbinding.

Anyone who gains access to a game-account via a bound sign-in method, also has the capacity to bind more, and unbind others.

If by a 'fix', you mean a method to secure accounts. Third-Party OAuth login, such as Google's for example, support TFA (Two Factor Authentication), and other measures that strengthen the sign-in process.

Going to C:\Users%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Hotta\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor and deleting Gameusersetting and engine.ini allows me to start game once. If I quit game and try to relaunch, it crash, even if I don't do anything. Only way to re-open game is to re-delete engine.ini again

Check your AntiVirus' {or any protection software}'s logs, quarantine folder, etc, and see if you can find a mention of the executable's removal.
