Graphics card error, try closing some applications that you have on in your background. If that doesn't work if you manage to get in game lower everything such as the graphics, shading and so on as low as you can and slowly up it from there so that you don't eat to much resources/memory that your graphics card has built into it

So my friend couldn’t log in on his account, like it’s saying log in error etc. he doesn’t know any way to fix it. He thinks that he got false banned or something, but with the false ban aside. I tried logging in on his account and for some reason I can log in on his account, but he can’t on his main pc?

We tried everything:

• Uninstalling and installing
• running ToF as administrator
• changing password
• restarting pc

Sorry not an error anymore. His account data was completely wiped. He plays on New Era and his saved progress there was completely gone like he had to start from zero. I went in and try to log in on his account and it seems like on my side, his account wasn’t wiped and it’s still there.

@serene wyvern -- Yes, the game would run with an i5-9400's IGP. However, expect problems and graphical defects / anomalies, there are known driver issues on Intel's side.

@minor hazel -- Sounds as if the MiniLoader opens up / starts, and on clicking install "for the launcher", it instantly closes and you find yourself left with an empty folder. Is that right?

More likely than not this is a rights issue, and that TofMiniLoader.exe is not properly getting elevated:
-- Navigate to: "%USERPROFILE\AppData\Local\TofMiniLoader"
-- Right click on 'ToFMiniLoader.exe', and select "Run as Administrator".
-- Click "Install", and see if the Launcher is installed properly this time.

The resolution displayed when in fullscreen is not the actual resolution the Engine uses -- which should match the Windows Desktop's resolution. It should actually be in 4K despite this.

Switching server will wipe your progress, unless they have a qay to transfer the char

Different servers cross region should have their own character data. You should be able to move back and forth between the two servers -- albeit with different characters on each.

Meaning, you start fresh, yet you can swap freely.

I have similar problems, usually force closes when I open menus or backpack. I realized my iPhone RAM is 6GB while the game is 8GB. Even tho they say the minimum phone to play is an iPhone 8s, and I have an iPhone 12. Apparently the games RAM is just too big for most phones. Maybe the same issue for you?

How do I report players who are trolling or harassing other players during a team game? This is the second time I gotten harrassed during a game (join operation), so I want to know where the report button is.

There's an ingame report feature, yet it may not always be possible to report a player in-time, or it may require more explanation (as this case probably does).

An A33 should be able to run the game, albeit performance may be on the lower side and it may be necessary to reduce the graphics settings.

Check under "%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Hotta\Saved\Crashes" and see if there's subfolders populated under here with timestamps that line up with the loading screen closures of the game.

If there are, if you can archive (winrar, 7zip, winzip, or the built in Windows zip-tool) those folders and send them my way {via DM's}, will take a look. The game may be capturing a crash-dump before the client closes.

500$ USD is below the price point that you'll start seeing discrete graphics solutions {at least without going used}. Probably a Geforce 1650 is the lowest that would do for "Extreme" or above at a playable framerates {1080p}.

If 500$ is the max budget, and if you have to go with a system that lacks a discrete GPU -- aim for a Ryzen APU over an Intel (due to Intel's current driver issues with the game).

This happens far too often, sadly, and there's serious security implications {as well as ownership arguments} -- even if in many cases the person who does such for them is trustworthy.

On account sales not being allowed {or account exchange}, in addition to the above -- there's the other aspect of perceived fairness among the community. That a person has to work for their achievements on their own, even if they were to have an advantage through expenses.

well i can tell you having been a system game master and being a current admin and in dev support on a game thats been in building 6 years and is coming out of cbt to public beta in 2024 i can tell you that fairness thing literally is a mere perception for a game to actually be fair youd have to move all the whalers to their own set of servers to keep them from bounty hunting all the items from the less affluent players im saying this because the game im referring to is in cbt with 23k testers and every last one of them is an actual millionaire they are not just testing they happen to be the ones backing the developers financially me personally i could whale if I want to but to keep the game fair i set a limit of 50 usd a month and that has to spread between the 50 games i play on and off although i was a bit naughty i blew my budget on tower by 30. I decided I wanted nemesis
