Its been interesting having my boat and building up some food, but the moment I turn on my food processor or water the game drops from 50fps to 12fps for a long time. Interstingly enough the completion of the item and save/load doesent help. The frames just kinda come back at some point.

Similar situation for me. I'm pretty sure it's the water purifiers. Framerate tanks when they're running, and doesn't improve immediately when I turn the pump off, only when the purifier cycle ends a moment later.

It keeps my trees growing using a tank and a solar panel. I’ve seen some people chain a few of them together to compensate for the slow output.
Was more wondering if it was the purifier or the water through the cable. I don’t think I’ve seen the purifier actually have any visual effects besides the cable pumping
