Hello, I’d like to know how I can create the specific humans I want. When I select a particular type of human, it shows question marks. I keep adding nutrients and items until it reaches 100%, but when the creation finishes, the character ends up with a different occupation.

Growing humans is by far the most frustrating thing in the game.
To start with you don’t know what attributes they need (Empathy, Intelligence, wisdom and so on) until after you grow a human.
Dialling in exactly what you need for a specific outcome is guess work, trial and error as you move stuff in/out of the Lazarus rack.
Don’t get it 100% spot on then the outcome as part random.

this is the main reason i joined the discord lol. ive had fun so far with 2 playthroughs but my god i cant figure out how to produce certain hunmans lol

Yep, same…. The calculator finally helped, though I think I didn’t give some of them enough resources to live long enough….

im trying the calc out now and i think im following it correctly yet i got governor out of it when i was trying a teacher

Ah…. Put in what stuff you have for food, go to the bottom and search for teacher. Click the card and it will tell you exact how many of each to add and what memories to add

If you click on a specific human it will show you what req it has for the memories

I will try again for sure. But i did do this lol and if I remember correctly it was telling me add 6 ultimate genesis a couple high fats and a ash notebook and I tried it 3 times and never got a teacher . Been loving the game and playing it everyday since I’ve gotten in but I’m stuck on this bastard of a mission trying to make a dam teacher haha. At the point where I just want to start a 3rd play through and avoid this one all together

Bummer. I do find the human growing thing complicated and knowing it uses finite/limited resources makes me freak out a bit to make a mistake.

ok after periodically trying this for the past week i found if you take the big boys out of the equation the calculator works everytime . mainly taking the ash note books and the ultimate genesis , once i took them off the calculator and just used the others it worked 100% of the time

Reinitialize the rocket at the control panel and you should be fine

It took me an hour to make three humans.
Although the online calculator helped with telling me the requirements it didn’t help with telling me how to actually do it.
After Lots, and lots, of trial and error I got it figured out?
Not enough as explain it to others though? Definitely not words alone, maybe in a video?
