Game starting is very long time and works very slow after update

~~If that is a 3060 yes i believe so. Since it just has a 8x interface with a 192 bit memory bus. The CPU usage looks fine it is a 12400 and as long it doesn't constantly run at 95%-100% CPU usage it is not as problematic. I talk yesterday to a player that use a 9600k for the last caretaker but missing textures can only be 1 of two problems. missing vram or missing textures (because loading is lagging). Both of them count toward a GPU issue.

Also your screenshot show that the GPU run higher than the CPU.~~

#

edit: Forgot what i said the issue is your Ram

#

you bottlenecking there that why the textures and game load so slow

#

Turn off all programms that you dont need in the background and try to load the game again it should than run faster. Basically your ram is full and outsources all data into your HDD or M2 drive which massively slow down everything specifically the loading times of your system.

#

This affect performances from lets say 30 FPS (playable) to basicly 3-5 FPS .

#

turn also down some settings might help you a bit but basicly all unessary programs in the background need to be turned off via task manager.

Here is a more detailed description of the problem:

  1. When launched, the game froze on a black screen for a minute or more before the “Channel 37” logo and the main menu appeared, which is not the game’s standard behavior. During this time, CPU usage was at 100%, while SSD usage was at 0%.
  2. After the world loaded, almost all textures were missing and loaded extremely slowly, accompanied by severe FPS drops (losses of more than 10 frames).
  3. The average FPS dropped by at least 10 compared to previous versions with the same settings.

Ram is maxed out that cause this. The game outsource all data than on the harddrive to keep the game running (it would anotherwise crash) but the harddrive even a m2 one is not designt for fast data speeds that is causing a slow down of the entire system and also cause texture to load a lot slower because they get loaded from the harddrive not from the memory.

#

please test it turn off discord and another programms in the background you dont need

Its not permanent value
I had to open a browser to translate some texts. The browser was open after I launched the game and loaded the world

and start the game new

#

yeah but the files are still located on the m2 than you see the spike in the m2

#

the data get dropped there

#

as long you CPu dont run at 95% or higher it is really fine (check the cores if one is constandly at 100% that is a issue)

What you've described doesn't affect performance any differently than in previous versions of the game. The game used to put a much heavier load on the computer than it does now, but it stopped being able to handle it after the update.

Ok have fun

Sorry. Bad translate

#

Just test old game versions and new game version for perfomanse

sorry but i have 30 years of experiments in workaround i do that in many games and what i see here is a ram bottle neck and you can check it just by turning off all nessary programs like discord. And after that launch the game.

#

it should load much faster.
