I dont see the purpus of the forlift right now? Why not have some mission where you have to use it to move some stuff that is only movable with the forklift. or some loot that is to heavy to lift and that only can be scraped in recycler since it is to big to use hand scraper on?

Well, fortiholds magnet to pallets. If you block four fortiholds on a pallet, you can carry a metric ton of goods without overburdening yourself. (If you upgrade your inventory.) If you DO overburden yourself with another metric ton of goods . . . the forklift doesn't care.
Stacking four loaded fortiholds on top of four loaded fortiholds does seem to be too much weight, though. It has trouble crossing things like elevator thresholds with that much on it. Though it CAN. It's just kinda flaky carrying that much.
I haven't tried only six, though. That might be passable.
I typically use it to carry construction modules into sites it can access (I like to build basic power gen wherever I go,) then use it as a dropoff for scrap while I do my teardown of the site. You can use the forks to line the pallets up on deck by the mooring (if the seas are calm), and make one slow, overburdened trip to the recycler to drop multiple tons of scrap at once.

Somethings right now might lack clear purpose, but we are building a world where nothing is useless 🙂 in the end it all makes sense 🙂
