box customize menu

i went to customise a chest but i accidently closed the check without closing the customize window and now its stuck on the screen and i cant access anything
please tell me theres a way to get rid of this without forcing the game to close

i fixed it i used the WIN + R to open the CMD window and it made the game curser reappear ( game was not in full screen mode press ALT + Enter ) so i could remove the box thank god that worked better save the game now as i dont wana loose all the work ive just did

Glad you got it sorted. I'm having trouble reproducing this. Do you remember how it happened? Every time I try to close the chest, it closes the customize window first, but it's clear that some combination made it do that. 🤔

yep just go to edit the box colour etc but instead of closing the window showen close the main one ive had the same issue while saving by clicking the backup button before you disconnect from the back up machine if u wish i can try and reproduce it while you watch me Live to see if i can get it to happen again or i could make a video and post it here, il be back on again in about 7 ot 8 hrs as am off to bed now

ive uploaded 2 videos with the bugs and how i did them and to show people how to get rid of them i used the CMD through the WIN+Run method ** i didnt know the Run Box did the job without opening the CMD Window **

Ah ha! You did it with the mouse. I was using the keyboard and a gamepad and it refused to close the chest while the customization window was open. I didn't try closing the chest with the mouse. Thanks for demonstrating it! I knew the backup window behaved this way, but not chests. I'm not sure about the customization screen, but another way of making the backup menu disappear is to open a chest. Either way, it's good to know that Win+R can help break out of it too.
