Iron Weights - Sink faster and walk somewhat hindered when landing on building ruins or sea floor.

Air Bag/Blatter - Used for quick, rapid surfacing.

We are playing as a robot made of metal, we should sink like a bag of bricks by default, but something to make going up faster is a must-have.

If i was making a robot like that it would be out of lightweight aluminum alloys. So not sinking to fast. But yes, id love to see diving weights (something to use up the multi boxes of iron i end up with) and either cloth or plastic float bags. Could also be the start of salvaging bladder bags for raising things from the ocean floor. (POIs and ships, or ship parts)

Oh interesting idea, could hook the air bags to any broken robots to collect and scrap later. Maybe the harder to reach robots could have rare pattern fragments for something you couldn't acquire on the surface. To protect the mechanic, the data fragment would need to be extracted on the boat versus with the scrapper tool.

Yes, and help to preserve power if you can't afford to salvage it there. And then later in the tech tree you have larger and more complex that can raise ship parts or even fuel tanks. Would add to ship building if you salvage sections of ships and use a POI dry dock to repair them together.

I have seen posts about ship upgrading. In a world with only one floating ship, assuming the devs don't add more later, the only logical place to find the others is on the sea floor. Would make investing points in the pressure enhancement more appealing.

Yep. I think i saw something about a helicopter. Best to have those parts at the bottom too.
