I am having a major issue with the boat where it wont move at all. it wont even move with the waves, its like it became a physical object. it is not anchored and its not tethered. this happened at Refuel Outpost Delta. and all of my saves are to close to even try and go back, i tried them all and still the same thing.

I now find myself in a similar situation docked to the Lazarus Complex after arriving for the first time....

are either of you still stuck? walk around your boat, see if anything, crate, electical joiner, battery is floating with the waves instead of the boat, if so deleting that item(s) fixed mine twice now - its easier to spot when a bit stormy as the relative motion is more obvious

I had to go back to a earlier save to fix it

Typically the stability of the boat is caused by rogue objects, lots of stability fixes in the coming update so we hope it will not happen again 🙏

Same thing, I have not noticed any objects floating, but I have made sure the boat is not stuck on something.

It happened while my boat was powering the Refueling Outpost

same thing happened here, left a refueling outpost, anytime I try to leave the general area around the outpost my boat gets stuck

dumb question, were there tire bumpers on the dock and could your boat have jammed under some of them? I find those are my biggest enemy when it comes to the boat getting in weird positions. Those much like crates become fixed entities when done moving on a surface, so disconnecting them from the object in question usually does the tick

For me, was not close enough for that, the boat was powering the outpost and became a solid object and didn't even interact with the waves.

I stopped mooring. And I greatly reduced clutter on my boat. I am using storage boxes but I make special efforts to keep my boat balanced so it does not start listing to one side or the other. I would think a built-in ballast system has been standard on ships of smaller size than this ship... on up to cruise ships and military naval vessels of the largest sizes. And are automated as well. So our little home on the waves should not have a problem with this.

How ?

Look in %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Voyage\Saved\SaveGames and select the save that is giving you the problem. Note that Save Slot 1 is marked with 0, Slot 2, with 1, and so forth. Then just upload that save file

Ok got the saves how do I no upload it im on phone

#

i picked up everything on the boat thinking having stuff everywhere may have been the problem that didnt fix it either

#

a simple reset boat locaation in open water would fix this

Alright, I'll have a look at it

I'm sorry, but I'm not going to be able to work with this save. Judging from the things you have in your inventory, I'm guessing you had some mods running? The sheer amount of items in your inventory (not to mention what the items were) make it pretty much impossible for me to move, but even after I dumped it out on the ground, it still too difficult for me to identify whether the glitch originated with the Live version of the game or one of the mods. I'd suggest reverting to an earlier save. Every save is backed up (even if you saved over a slot). Take a look in %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Voyage\Saved\SaveGameBackups\ and try working your way back before you got stuck. You'll need to move them to the save folder you got this one from and name it in the same format.

i didnt even no you could mod the game so ive wasted nearly 30 hrs delete time

Took a quick peek, and that's what it looks liek to me, too tbh. Further reaffirmed by "30 hours". I've got closing in on 200 hours, have scoured weeeell into the majority of POIs, and I don't have that many resources amassed.

no one's going to condemn you for using mods, including me. Do what you do to enjoy the game. But, frankly, you really shouldn't load up an Early Access game (by their very nature, already bug prone), and then throw third-party code into the mix, and expect people to be able to (or interest in, for that matter) untangling it.

I don’t use mods period I’d understand if I had but considering I haven’t I’m F off

So when your boat looks like this, I think most understand why it would be more than a little difficult to untangle the mess.
