Cant get past the "Continue" button

I played for 3 hours, even quit within the first hour and came back onto the game no issues. Now everytime i wish to play, it crashes when i press the Continue button, i can start a new save no problems, but when i want to continue any, it crashes

same thing happens to me too, have you been able to find a work around? my guess is it could be an issue with autosave.........

nope, that didn't help, my next guess is its an issue with unreal engine and epic games or something since it mentions a login and epic account ID in the first section of the crash report, otherwise it looks like an unhandled exception, maybe for cloud saves?

The work around, from what ive found, is to delete the auto save file under C:\Users\ [user name]\AppData\Local\Voyage\Saved\SaveGames\ [long number that might be unique]. Ive found that when it breaks, the autosave file is empty. Another thing i also did while doing this was delete all the save game backups under Saved\SaveGameBackups but idk if that is actually necessary, and if it turns out to be, perhaps you can identify the offending file by its size being zero.

This worked a few times (over the course of today) before another bug happend where I load a save and the game is immediately super laggy with what I suspect to be the sound that plays when the game saves on repeat. The sound doesnt play all the way through but interrupts itself. Luckily, at the time, I used 2 save slots and alternate which one i save to so I was able to load an earlier save without much lost. But now both those saves are broken and I had to start a new game. I recommend using 3 or more save slots for any current playthrough.

that seems to have fixed it, sadly though it seems about 10 hours of progress or so got rolled back in my other saves (either that or I simply neglected to save as often as I thought)

my fix specifically was the autosave file corruption, so im turning it off

Turning off autosave is not helping me all my saves are causing a crash. deleted all my saves and back up saves and started a new game once I save it then crashes at continue and will not let me play. Any suggestions?
