Bug Report: Severe Elevator Issue at Beacon Base 32

There is a critical bug with the elevator at Beacon Base 32 (the third one in the navigation markers). Here’s what happens:

When I take the elevator to the top floor, the beacon base suddenly loses power, causing the elevator to get stuck. I have to jump down to safety.

To troubleshoot, I built 3 medium wind power generators and 1 medium battery, ensuring there is no shortage of electricity. However, when I press the bottom button under the elevator, nothing happens—the elevator remains stuck high above.

After testing and consulting other admins, we suspect the issue is as follows:

  • After charging, the top-floor button can still call the elevator up.
  • The elevator’s own buttons are still interactive.
  • But the bottom-floor button cannot call the elevator down at all.

Temporary Workaround:

  • Again, do not use small batteries to charge the beacon base or related devices.
  • Use at least 1 wind power generator + 1 medium battery to ensure the building can generate its own electricity.

Request: Please fix this bug at Beacon Base 32 as soon as possible, so we can continue exploring after completing all the missions.

I made this mistake of charging a station with a temporary battery and now my elevaror is stuck and there is no way back up

I also have this problem. Even after connecting the power generator, the elevator can only be used by continuously clicking the button on the elevator platform.

Noticed the same thing at the first seed vault. Initially powered the facility with a small battery, took the elevator down, at some point the battery depleted. Eventually climbed back up, replaced battery with a wind generator, power remained constantly on, however the call button at the top did not work, and the buttons on the elevator itself had to be tapped in succession to keep motion.

Yea I'm at the silo and there is no way up besides the elevator so I'm hard stuck in the mission now, with no means of progressing

The lift consumes more power than 1 wind gen provides, that's why it keeps cutting out. Build 2 or 2 solar and a med battery and then the lift will work perfectly.

Oh, I had the same behavior charging lower floor of the seed vault with battery

I did this with black sail rig, worked exactly as described. Are you trying with a facility that has split grids, or an old version - latest patch has a fix for one lift somewhere apparently.

The seed place? Works fine for me there. Powered up round the back with 2 lumimids and a battery, alls fine.

Having the same issue with the exodus lift

Having the same issue, first time worked fine but now i'm fuelling the rocket the platform is stuck and won't go down so I can't take anything up.

I had a bug today concerning the lift on the nav tower by exodus. There's a walkway area just underneath the top and an angel nipped in to look around, but couldn't get out. The lift passed through it to get to the top, but then wouldn't go down again.

I couldn't get to it to dismantle it either. Had to reload.

Exodus control tower lift bugged out for me last night also, wouldn't come down, had to build a storage box "ladder" up the side of the building to get up there.
