#Fuel Depot-suggestion

Eyo bro, Have you heard of Black Vein? 😄
I was wondering if that black mass (whatever they're called) on the exhaust stack was related to a future intent... the place looks like it was meant to be a refinery. I mean, there's no reason to actually attack that mass otherwise.
The Black Vein Station is an endless source of oil, so could be turned into a supply depot of oil, diesel, and/or petrol. I've done this in my game. There's been a few posts about players taking oil to the various refuel stations, and making diesel and petrol there, but the Distillation Tower is 60kW of electric, so making the electrical infrastructure on each fuel depot might get pricy. Nonetheless, the Black Vein Station is your source of endless oil, for the small price of 60kW to run the pump!
Have not. Haven't gotten that far yet I suppose.
It effectively is what you're after with how @novel wagon has described. It is a bit out of the way tho
I definitely feel like Black Vein should be the endgame - Especially since, at least in my save, it requires a resource I still haven't come across (Neutronium) to repair the main pump, and the 60kW requirement I've read about here.
The fuel depots, on the other hand, could produce fuel very slowly, nowhere near the speed that is possible on Black Vein, but still enough to allow at least somewhat consistent use of the diesel engine, especially when paired with a boat-mounted Diesel Generator.
Good to know!
I believe the neutronium is in the robosharks. I think i have a couple pieces already.
It is from Ultra Tech Scraps.
I've never gotten any ultra tech scraps, haven't attacked any sharks either. They leave me alone, I leave them alone :D
Ultra Tech can be found in a variety of places: sharks, the old/ancient Lazarus items, [usually] Angels [that you've killed], and the big laser ball. Bio Flesh is usually in them too. On the good side is you only need a little bit of Neutronium and Plasma Gel, so you don't have to sacrifice your Ancient Lazarus collection if you don't want to. Hunting sharks is challenging, especially high-seas, but it's doable, so Ultra Tech is mostly a harvestable item, with a bit of perseverence.
