The boat has a built-in tank capacity of 2000l and total electric capacity of 6kWh. It would be nice if the display on the bridge (and at the connectors) would show the total maximum capacity, e.g. if one diesel tank and two medium batteries are connected to the boat's tanks and electrical storage, it should display 4000l and 18kWh as the maximum capacities.
#Show total tank & electric capacity on boat bridge

YES!
Absolutely! Also an option for freedom units alongside metric system. I was was born in '64 and the world can take it's metric system and shove it up its arse. When we launched our Moon mission in '69 we read the speed in MPH. not km/h and I ain't seen any of these knuckle-dragger metric system countries land men ANYWHERE but ellis island.
Hi @rancid tendon, i was born a little bit later, in '76. But i swear, i love the metric system. I simply grew up with it. Just like you grew up with the Anglo-American system of measurement. So there's no reason to condemn either one... 😃
I'm fine with the metric system (really, they're just arbitrary units in this context), but
for the combined totals... it would make the fuel meter stop bouncing green/red/green/red while traveling as a bonus.
My OCD would really like seeing the boat instrumentation adapt to the addition of tanks and batteries.
Just asked for something that made sense, as an option, not replacement - sorry if I didn't include that. all fun intended! (not some franco's idea of dividing the arced distance between the equator and one of the planet's poles being the root of anything. I get it the Napoleon types need base 10 so they can count on their fingers and all... They also thought de Gualle was a hero but he ran for the hills, didn't he? Dude only came back after, US, UK, Aussies, and Canadians stormed Normandy some hero! LOL [being a twit on purpose, here all in good fun])
FREEDOM UNITS PLEASE as an option
All unit types are in base 10 in their own counting system. lol
I think it would be cool if you also had to plug in a data cable or something from the tanks/batteries into a wall somewhere to get the total reading on the bridge
Speaking of units id say the boat should use knots for speed log and nautical miles for distance with metric for everything else. Just like on real ships.
...with a global option for freedom units, like on a US Navy vessel in WWII
FREEDOM UNITS!!!
I would also love to be able to see the capacity of my net on the bridge so I know when it's time to go down and pull it up!
I wish that the Fuel Gauge would show any fluid capacity that is connected to the Diesel connections on the boat, I'm thinking any capacity that is connected to that fluid line. I understand if you connect to tanks at the refinery it would show the capacity off ship as well but I think its worth looking in to.
Right now I have all the tanks set to equalize so the % of fuel left is correct but not the liters.
Bonus points if it can show the level of each fuel type / fluid type. So one gauge has 4 mini gauges in it, Diesel, Petrol, Water, ETC...
the moon landing was metric, just broadcast in inferial
