additionally if anyone has experience making thaumcraft addons, I'd like to commission a medium-sized one to add casting gauntlet alternatives. I was trying to code these things myself, but I just do not have the experience nor passion for modding, so learning would be useless for me beyond being able to make my SMP and modpacks by proxy more fleshed out.

So, if I understand well, it would be stored in the player info as a map of id -> quantity mined and there would be formulas in config to set the quantity mined -> items per ore curves

afaik no mods in my modpack add any blocks that drop diamonds
