I desperately need an anime model. I can do clothing and other concepts with the SDXL base model but my main focus is the characters and I'm not getting confidence on sdxl base model

this should work better than sdxl base for anime character lora if you use artworks as dataset

yeah I tested this with Mika Pikazo arts and it works better than base SDXL0.9
