Pterodactyl backup to Google Drive Addon

Basicall an addon for Pterodactyl that will backup the file servers into google drive or other cloud services, using their API perhaps?

I think this is a good Idea and I have no idea why no one made this yet

make a schedule system for it aswell

Have a default for admin, and an option for each client to opt into private or stick with host selection.

im doing this so the members can link their google account and take advantage of their free 15 GB

and it doesn't break when transferring servers from one node to another

that's why I prefer s3 over local

and if they had google drive integration, I would opt to it cuz I've got 2TB on google drive

Hello, mine is a little bit more expensive, but it supports SSH (Hetzner Storage recommended), S3, and best of all, deduplicated.

Pictured below is First backup + First sync (Both local copy, and Offsite copy is deduplicated and auto synced) and the Second backup and Second sync (Faster since it only needed to save 7KB of new data on both local and remote storage saving me lots of storage space and bandwith.

1st picture: Able to restore the synced backups even if it gets deleted in the panel.

2nd picture: If the server itself gets deleted in the panel, it automatically creates the folder in wings with the same uuid, and tells you how to gain access to it again on the panel.

Addon: 3rd and 4th picture ($9.99) - Both Standalone and Blueprint version included

Ah I see, mine is more focused on deduplicated backups, and disaster recovery. (I don't believe google drive supports SSH at all)

I usually recommend hetzner storage servers to people, I personally use them $13/m for 5TB and that's plenty if deduplicated

You can probably use something like rsync, but it wouldn't be possible to restore/download/create/delete backups from the panel

I have already purchased the previous addon I mentioned

I dont see the need to purchase another atm, but maybe inthe future I would be willing to try if there is a special occasion, like a sale or if I want to try something new

I guess your addon is more towards natural disaster recovery type thing

if the server file is corrupted and the addon copies the corrupted file it will make the backup useless

It's not really, there's 3 modes you can use. The main feature of my system is that it saves you storage space, and bandwith (if you're doing remote backups)

Like I could make 100 backups of a 1gb server and it would only use up 1.1gb of storage max

instead of the regular backup system of pterodactyl which would cost you 100gb+

Yes it's more marketed towards game server hosts. Since I switched my hosting to this, my wings backups folder went from 2tb to 600gb. My remote backup copy went from 2tb to 600gb. Per node.
