For me multiple monitors are only useful if you need to monitor things. Example stock market, even then you can use API and make your own dashbord to monitor multiple charts on a single monitor.

On my main computer I have 2, never needed to have more than that and it is exosting to always move my head when I need to look at another monitor.

And even now I don't even use my main computer anymore, just a laptop all the time. As I got used to work from my bed, a lot more comfortable than sitting in a chair.

As I can work from multiple positions easier in bed

it's fine if the fans are setup for it, I put my pc on the floor but I have no intake there; reason almost all cases have a mesh on the inside for the psu.

Also greatly reduces dust intake into the psu which is nice

No, that's not why; it sucks in dust off the carpet and can't breathe.

That said if you have no intake on the floor because your PSU intake faces inwards (afik Lenovo does it like that) it's fine (highly recommend most lazy people to do it actually).

Static is not really an issue with modern PCs anymore, I've literally shocked some ram sticks sometimes because I didn't ground properly but it was fine, check out LTT's vid with electroboom on it too.
