Interesting ideas, probably imbalanced but all seem fun. I absolutely love the idea of a phobie that increases your range as long as you are shooting in a straight line through it.

About the second idea: I just think random/RNG in phobies doesnt work at all... The fact that you know what wich phobies or thing does makes it work more strategically. (In example: TF2 Random crits. It looks like a great idea in paper. But it just isn't fair/ballanced in the gameplay...)
The random one could work ok if you could tell what it was going to be while it was on lock or cooldown. [Although it should only show after the turn you summon it, so you can't undo if you don't like it.]
In tf2 guaranteed crits are OK since you can see when they are active.
But I agree it might be better to be variable but influenced by something. Eg it's ability changes depending on what hex it is standing on.
I just cry in the bathroom every time I die to a random critical hit rocket or sticky bomb :D
