Gami, i would like to hear about your take on how we can effectively distribute across the world! Been thinking about this and how it pertains to Music! Are there distribution partners we can bring on board that Ensure that we can get Gnars Merch to local reps like myself.. especially when we sponsor an athlete!

Distribution begins with issuing grants to Nouns Athletes, since they are the people who have reach (social media followings), feature in amazing film and photo content, and compete on world stage in front of lots of people. So in terms of distribution to fans, that will need to come after we've established a presence with our Nouns Athletes. This proposal idea is more about getting a fund together so that I can commission artists to create nounish pieces, that we also put on clothing. So same as with my other replies to you, we need to focus on finding Athletes and Artists, and introducing them to our project. After my chat with Gami yesterday! Gnars Streetwear Label is one of those aspects i see bringing alot more wealth creation for DAO members.. a decentralized brand with each DAO members taking the cc0 art and making drops in every part of the world

Hey Gami, been sitting down with my team to make the Gnarfrica shop and wanted to follow up on this.. How would this Multi-vendor store work.. Especially when it comes to Product distribution.

Key questions:

  1. Does the DAO make a bulk order and hold it in warehouse and then orders are fulfilled like amazon FBA?
  2. How do we ensure all gnars merch especially in submarkets remains of a high quality
  3. Team is working on custom Mobile money payment system as this is the most acceptable payment mode in Africa! Would this Multi vendor store incorporate this?
  4. Is there a way to have a % of the sales go to the DAO treasury or maybe to Oxigami so as to further support the DAO activities!

I am keen to have a lengthy chat with you about this because gnarfrica is going to generate alot of buzz and we need to be ready to satisfy the demand! Especially for the cc0 designs we are commissioning!

Much simpler than that.

Consider it like this: All art assets are CC0, you could start your own store, keeping all profits for yourself, hosting the store either on Shopify/WooCommerce etc, or on gnars.com itself. That would provide the frontend only, as for the backend, like supply/distribution/fulfilment, would be up to the individual. I'd basically just be providing a frontend so you can get exposure on the gnars.com website.

Ver interesting idea. Also just made me realise something. Before we collab on a drop with @eager bough or another artist, we should first do a “permissionless collab” with Nouns DAO itself. Eg. Make streetwear versions of some literal nouns accessories — high quality doom shirt anyone? Perhaps our riders and community can vote on which nouns accessories we bring to life as streetwear?
