Summary
The ETHDenver 2026 Pop-Up Skate & Public Art Hang-Zone is a collaborative outdoor activation celebrating skate culture, art, and decentralized creativity. Hosted by SporkDAO, the event brings together GnarsDAO, 303 Boards, and PizzaDAO to design and operate a fully permitted pop-up skate park in the outdoor plaza between ETHDenver’s two main buildings.
This activation will run for at least one week during the festival and feature modular skate obstacles, live art, music, and community engagement. Beyond ETHDenver, the project will launch a Front Range Public Art & Skate Initiative to install DAO-branded skate obstacles and art across Colorado.
Goals
- Deliver a safe, fully permitted pop-up skate and public art hang‑zone during ETHDenver.
- Debut DAO‑collab portable obstacles as both functional features and merch (Pizza Kicker, Slice Wedge, Melted Manual Pad, DAO Rail).
- Seed a post‑event legacy initiative for permanent installations across the Colorado Front Range.
Success Criteria
- Permits approved by OSE, DOTI, and Fire as needed.
- Daily programming executed with documented attendance and engagement.
- Portable obstacles fabricated, branded, and field‑tested pre‑event.
- Post‑event: launch sales through 303 Boards and publish recap + case study.
