Returning US player appraisal error - No character information found

I've played a lot in the past and was able to pre-register but the appraisal page isn't working for me. Is there a fix?

Dear Traveler,
According to the rules, players in the US region are evaluated based on their historical cumulative recharge amount. We have not found any recharge records associated with your account, and entering the nickname did not yield any corresponding account. You may try selecting "I am a new player" and upload screenshots (you can upload past Dragonheir screenshots or screenshots from other games) for evaluation.

Hi there. What do you mean by recharge amount? Since I can't access the game anymore I can't grab any screenshots and I never saved any from previous plays. My game nickname was LlanowarTanis and it does appear in the dropdown after logging in with my google account but still says no character info found.
I played through the main story where it ended by fighting a creature in the large tree and some time after was transported to another part of the map where I had to collect some kind of dragon spirit pieces.

If you have not made any previous recharges, entering your nickname will show that no corresponding character can be found. You may use the "I am a new player" option to upload screenshots of other games, or monitor screenshots uploaded by other players for reference.

Oh, it's only for people who spent actual money on the game. got it.
That probably should be in bold letters rather than the fine print. It would certainly help alleviate the confusion many returning players like myself are having.
