Unable to link account while running the game on Steam (Linux)

I played on Android and kinda liked the game, so I decided to switch to my PC instead (for larger screen and better visuals). Naturally, I don't want to go through all the content I've already been to. So I linked my Android game to both FB and Google. But then I was unable to link and recover my account on Steam version.

When I try FB option, the game opens some kind of internal browser which is empty (see screen 1).

When I try Google option, it opens normal auth page in my browser and seemingly goes through the process (screen 2), but then I get an error message on the game intro (screen 3).

Ubuntu 22.04 > Steam for Linux > Proton (compatibility layer)

Please advise.

try refreshing page when you hit screenshot 1; another thing that can help is logging into FB prior to trying it in-game (however it does not necessarily work with every browser, on Windows it had to be Edge)

Thanks for suggestion, but no, that WebView window is thoroughly dead and does not respond to anything. I also tried running the game with both Intel or NVidia graphics, just in case, result is the same.

After checking with the development team, we confirm that the PC version currently only supports Windows and does not support other client versions (such as Linux Steam client). We recommend using other compatible devices to play the game.
