#Ace Challenger Event

These events should be about getting people signing in and if they partcipate they can complete them. The way this event is currently designed it works as more of a detractor then getting participation. @night wedge suggestion of giving some point for participation makes perfect sense.
This is also a simple change that just improves the game with 0 effort pls consider this.
Make this event require less points and make losses give points as well.
it is great we have such variety of units in game, all core roles covered among every element... so it makes seasonal affinity teams able to be built for damage or stall type defenses....... but when you have such variety, it makes it equally tedious to counter when you have to swap gear, artifacts, positioning just to attack one opponent. most players would just rather use 1 "meta" or comfortable team and attack everything they see... unfortunately, this also means they have to pick and choose which targets to attack.
if i know i can't win a fight, i skip it. and refresh... if every stinking opponent has a bunch of nonsense high resist ardreth-garius-felosia/elminster/adolphus/vinyara/rose combinations and i cant win, what is there to attack?
if we keep seeing Ace Challenger events, we need a way to clear it or why even have it in the game? losses should absolutely count toward event... OR... make it so wins on defense also count. something that allows players to advance without wasting huge amounts of time.
They aren't even fair compared to every other event that often has more bread and resources. It's a good 50 arena wins vs autoing 30 venom 9 runs
Assuming matchmaking is working, we should have around a 50% winrate, if we're at the rank that matches our skill. That means you need to use up around SEVEN (seven wins out of 15 attempts) full bars of pvp energy.
All it does is encourage people to run a weak defense team so that they can farm noobs.
I totally agree with all of this. The arena is an area that needs to really be looked at going forward. Probably one of the biggest complaints in game.

I personally agree with this suggestion , however I feel like what ever it will be done to arena it wont be enough as for example if I do not have a specific toxic champion ( not element toxic ) like previously mentioned garius with the staff build for stalling , and if I miss a core champs to pass that I'm screwed otherwise all its left is to refresh 5 times in row just to find all the bloody teams are exactly the same , if I could I would not play arena at all as I have no control over any of my champs , plus on top of that I personally hate pvp in general and at the current state I can't see any enjoyment playing arena + events associated with it . My question is , if that arena has been complaint about for so long ( I mean devs had 3 seasons = 9 months ) to do some kind of improvements and nothing has been done nor any type of acknowledgement ( if there was I might have missed it ) what is the purpose of this channel = suggestions , if devs don't bother reading nor to acknowledge nor even respond . All it is is for us players to have a discussion about it .
they did announce changes but this is just for ace challenger event idc about pvp xd
i think in one of the QnA's they said they are making changes to pvp systems can go find it
i think it was along with the announcement that they have new publisher
I assume thats another 3 seasons to implement them changes ?
all game system changes are always global mate not season specific
aka purple dice giving 0.2 % chance for legos will be a game change not seasonal
stuff like that is for overall game always
same as adding the 2x reward tickets
when we played season 1 that did not exist
so if they make arena changes it will be for all seasons/servers

Only grand arena I think as for me I won 5 in team arena and I did not earn any points towards ace challenge
Yes i am suggesting they should change it to inc 3x3. Win 2 or 3 and it counts for event.

i mean yeah whatever just make the event easy , all the other events are simply put few auto runs and it's done , this event takes too long
like Psionat said earlier these events are suppose to be almost like login / participation events and it should be easy to compelte them ( they all are except this one )
Team arena wins are not counted
For me, the Ace challenger was easy every time. I dont know, maybe in S1 is not competition too fierce. Otherwise i was going for Lucky cards, so i have been buying arena tickets twice every day. So Ace challenger was something done by the way.
why not just skip arena event every week ...
NO arena event is good for all ...
It is just a click to turn off the event at the sever side like what they did to turn off the 3% pull...
because just turning it off means less freebies for the player.... They have to add another event to replace it
Arena isn’t as bad in season 1.
Once everyone has these stacked defensive teams it’s just a pain.
