There's no strategy involved with this fight currently. It's just a stat check. Y'all can't think an unblockable wide-range AOE attack hitting 4 times at the start of the fight before battleskills can even kick in is fair.

Actually I would make the argument that there is some strategy, it's about positioning some champs as bait... and then the rest should be able to do the job

Even with the same positioning it's RNG as heck. Had to restart the fight 5 times before 2 characters survived. And outside of the instakill cheese? The fight's a basic tank and spank anyway. So it's not like it's some grand strategy.

I did retry a bunch but changed positions every time so I didn't know it was that RNG

Yeah tried a bunch of different positionings, defense stacking, etc. Basically had to keep restarting until a tank and healer survived instead of 4/5 getting oneshot and then they killed the rest with no issues

When I did it actually 2 DPS survived lol but they killed the mobs with half a shred of HP left

It's a dumb, cheesy fight that adds nothing to the game but frustration and artificial difficulty.
