Not a bug, but a question:
There are 9 legendaries on this banner and I'm at "10x chances" to draw the blessed hero, how are the odds calculated?
Does it add more copies of that hero to the pool so there are now 10 blessed heroes in the pool + 8 of the other non-blessed heroes for a total of 18 heroes in the pool of legendaries?
Is my chance of drawing the blessed hero out of the legendary pool 10 out of 18 (55%)?
I'd appreciate it if you could get a clarification from the dev team, thanks!

#Chance to draw a legendary from a timed banner

Yes its like you said. They add 10 copies of that specific hero and 8 others. So its 10/18 chance to pull it.
Isn't that kind of misleading though? Cause the original chance to pull is 1/9 which is 11.11%
It is done so often in the mobile games right now that basically its common knowledge. It sucks but it is what it is. Other way around it would be over 100% which would be impossible
There is also x20
but this is different banner with 3 different heroes to choose
so its basically 69/78 or somethign
The wording is the same as the single blessed hero wording
Oh right. So yea, 20/28 would be best chance
but you kinda have to combine those chances
So basically this?
2/10, 5/13, 11/18, 20/28
oh yea it most likely is 4/12 and not 5/13
10/18 and 20/28
Can't complain cause I got 3 leggos in 51 pulls, so if I manage to get about 5k wyrm in 7 days I'll go for that 55% chance
lucky enough haha
Also this is assuming no shady stuff behind the scenes
would not be surprised if you had to reach 35 for the last one ๐
3rd one was hard pity yeah haha
oof yea maybe last* one not taht bad. When I pulled on these banners it always felt like when I open the wallet I get the hero i want ๐คก
I saved up knowing the banner is coming, wanted zeffi for my oggok team, will live without her I guess
that is a strong combo in s2
but mostly for vortex
both heroes are really good also ofc
@uncut grove Hi, can you please confirm if the way I described it in the first message is correct?
Dear @jade bridge, thank you for your patience.
I'll forward your case to our dev team and they will do their best to work on your case. I'll get back to you as soon as the result comes back.
Could you please confirm to us if you mean the Celestial Alternate Summons Pool.
Seems so, yeah
Here are the event rules:
-
During the Celestial Alternate Summons event, you can choose any Legendary Hero of the event to be blessed. If the summoned Legendary Hero isn't the blessed one after obtaining the blessing, the chances of obtaining a blessed one will be increase.
-
Chances Increasing Rule: After summoning a non-blessed Legendary Hero, the chances of obtaining a blessed one will be increased to 2,4,10,20 times of the initial rate, 20 times at most. When the chances reaches 20 times, you are guaranteed to obtain the blessed hero. To make it simple, the fifth legendary hero you obtain from card draws is guaranteed to be a blessed hero.
-
After obtaining the blessed one, the chances will be restored to the initial rate. Only one blessed hero can be obtained during the event.
-
The blessed hero can't be changed upon being selected.
-
If no hero is selected to receive the blessing, the chances won't be increased.
I hope the above rules explanation helps you. I wish you good luck in the event!
I appreciate the quick answer, but I'm asking specifically on how the "2,4,10,20 times of the initial rate" part works so I can calculate my odds
Because as far as I speculate - at "10x the initial rate" it's 10 copies of Zeffi (blessed hero) and 8 copies of the other heroes (1 copy of each hero) so a 10 out of 18 chance (56%) of pulling the blessed hero if I'm at "10x the initial rate", but it's unclear and would appreciate it if the devs could clarify if this is indeed the correct way to calculate the odds ๐
You wont be getting this answer ๐
When this summon should be a legendary hero, the blessed hero is more likely to be summoned, probability will be increased according to the probability boost. The probability of summoning a Legendary is still the same.
What Iโm asking is - once I pull a leggo how many Zeffis are in the leggo pool of Im at 10x the initial rate? Normally thereโs only 1 zeffi and 8 other leggos.
Our team told us that the probability of obtaining the hero chosen gets higher according to the rules explained above.
Do you think there's any chance they can specifically confirm if the odds are like in the message I sent here? #1214627443600527420 message
Because the wording of "2x/4x/10x/20x the initial rate" is misleading, because that would imply that if the initial rate to get one legendary from a pool of 9 is 1 out of 9 (11.11%), then when you're at "2x/4x/10x/20x the initial rate" it would become 22.22%(2/9)/44.44%(4/9)/111.11%(10/9)(doesn't make sense)/222.22%(20/9)(doesn't make sense).
@jade bridge from what i understood from the following answer "When the chances reaches 20 times, you are guaranteed to obtain the blessed hero." it means that the 5th legendary pull will always be the blessed hero. that means that blessed hero has a 5% chance of being selected when you pull a legendary at the 1st pull, 10% at 2nd, 20% at 3rd, 50% at 4th, 100% at 5th. The other 8 legos would take the remaining % at each pull shared between them. the pool itself doesn't need to change
It doesn't make any sense if it's that way, more over it would be a scam if that's the way it worked because 1/9 is 11.11% and you're suggesting it's 5% which is half.
it"s proly bug i know someone left weeks ago because he do not have oggok at *20
he is still friend so i can ask him is ID if you want to check
and why would it be a scam? in nowhere it says that the initial probability must stay the same for every hero
instead, its a choice you make, losing innitial pull for garanteed pull later, or not
That's just you speculating. I just want the answer from the devs about how it actually works as transparency.
the same as you speculating that the pool needs to change as a mechanic. You got your official answer tough, on your 5th lego pull, you can come back if you don't get your blessed hero untill then, since that's exactly what the devs answered you
not knowing exact odds is how people spend money on gacha/chance games
Just stop replying and let me get an answer please.
@uncut grove Hi, would appreciate the devs response to this, thank you ๐
The devs responded with the event rules explained above. ๐
