Prior to the update, I was able to set auto-battling beyond my current stamina. This allowed for the consideration of the occasional defeat, so the battling would continue until the stamina I wanted to dedicate to that auto-run would all be consumed.
Now, I have to set the number or runs based on my available stamina. Then when the auto-run completes, I have to do additional runs based on the number of defeats in suffered.
Please allow setting number of auto -runs beyond current stamina and terminate the run when stamina expires or create the option to burn all current stamina

When I get defeats it still uses up my stamina... is it not this way in the later dungeons?
the problem is that you have to set it up to use the stamina left over from the defeats ...
e.g.
- you have 100 stamina
- the most goblins you can set to auto is 10
- if you are defeated twice it ends after 10 runs, but you have 20 stamina left
Before the auto system was updated, if I had 100 stamina, I could set it to run 15 times.
If I won all it stopped after 10 runs, if I lost 2 is would stop after 12 runs = all the stamina I wanted to use was used
It shouldn't use your Stamina from Defeats. I'd set up a Screen Capture to Record a Video if it does then properly send that to #🆘┆customer-service
