Even when paying to get up to 30 slots, I believe it is still too few. The game has so many different battles that repeat over and over, and for each battle you need different characters, gear and/or timing and it gets really anoying to have to 'invent' your team and strategy again every time you return to something you have already cleared.

Well - if you want 15 teams for Chaos Shadows - and then Goblin + 3 domains + 5 teams for the dungeons + teams for the teams for the different bosses on the world map (I am in season 2 so I have 5 recurring bosses) + 3 teams for Arena + Vortex + 3 pillars + Fey Meander (one for boss and one for exploration)..... I am getting to 30 very quickly. I guess some accounts might have universally good heroes that can do multiple tasks, but personally my account is stretched thin and needs to use every little advantage to maximize each of the different tasks.

Look no one is going to do all dungeons stage 8 and 9 without a legendary ice blast crystal hero in their ice blast team without legendary gear so either way you put it, it’s not happening.
Got to love a knight in shining armor coming to the rescue of someone who doesn’t need rescuing 😂
