I mean if you need to spend 1000 wm on completing the pass, it litterally gives that back as well as 7 dice and all the stamina, it's worth the investment.

Maybe but I think the point Stew was trying to make is that you shouldn't "have to" invest the gems back into the pass to complete it in time. I'm hoping to finish it all cuz it is a little more than the usual BP (Most I've bought are $15 and this one is $20) but I'm still getting some decent stuff out of it on the way.

Realistically, you don't have to. 1 have almost 2 weeks left on the pass and 47 levels are done just by doing the dailies and weeklies.
