well none of sets actually affect true dmg unless set have increase crit dmg/crit chance. All other sets can just make him put more corrosion but he is not main corrosion applier so stats (crit) over bonus effects...

I'd say that for any boss you would need one more healer/support that can assist Nathaniel.

He's usually not enough alone in the early game

be sure to read monster descriptions before you fight them. some monsters are better to avoid fighting or only fight them with magic.

One of them - Death knight. They permanently reduce your stats. so try to avoid them as much as possible.

Also - you don't really need to kill every single enemy on the map usually.

So be strategic where you go.

AoE maigc is also very useful and armageddon or metorite, don't remember the name hits every enemy on them ap you've already uncovered. it's very useful

as i said, first you save 270 dice, then you decide who you want to summon for.

and on the summon preview it should also tell you the date of the banner. Khrysos is not really recommended for you as newbie. you want to go for the exclusive damage dealers first

An R-Tier support like Khrysos would be huge help early game. The main problem is the type of banner, the Khrysos banner has no DPS, and only r-rated is Khrysos, costing 270 dice. So that's mainly why it's not worth it, Khrysos would be an OP carry-hero for early game but he's pointless without good DPS heroes to carry lol

The banner that just ended however is great for early game, probably the best, since there is a reasonably high chance to get r-rated support heroes, while also giving the DPS schools you choose, with guaranteed r-rated DPS at 270.

Don't know when the next option summons will be. But newer players should definitely save for it, it's the best banner by far.

There will be one of those 800summon banners, with selectable r-rated at 300 and 800. It might be a good investment. However keep on the lookout for news of another "option summons", like the one that just ended. Always make sure to have 300+ dice saved up for those

Also, keeping a little over 300 is better than only 270. Often when you reach 300 pulls and get the guaranteed, you'll only be like 20-40 summons away for another pity guarantee

It's worth it to pull those extra dice to get it. Sometimes you get an r-rated, which is especially nice if you get a copy of the selectable you chose, to get the artifact

You first have to play the introduction of the game mode Magichess

Best would be until lvl 10 or so of the first stage (or until instructed otherwise)

You would normally use a unit with the paired element for maximum effect.
If you have a fire team and you need a shielder, adolphus is a very good one.
So it will allways depend on what you need to do and what you want your team to do.
There are plent of shielders outside of Adolphus and Felosia.

down side is adolphus heal when he drops shield on top of shield. So previous shield need to stay on team for him to heal them and this is harder fight can end up not working cos shield is already gone.

Which hero out of these would you select? I checked the tier spreadsheet and premstsa seems to have good ratings for all game modes but my necrosis team collection is very lacking.

Hello everyone. I'm a newish player and I'm having trouble thinking about Frost teams. Help is appreciated 🙂
Without going into damage numbers, there seem to be two paths here: either a Hvitar or a non Hvitar team. Another crucial aspect is how relevant Accuracy is in this particular school of damage.
If I go with a non Hvitar team, I've been reasoning in terms of debuffers and damage dealers. Something along the lines of Lossenia + Aethereal plus Auster. Would you say that all Frost guys need accuracy? If so, how would you theorycraft a guy like Auster? Attack's a given but what about Accuracy?

1/ Accuracy is absolutely essential for applying debuffs. In a frost team, Lossenia is heavily focused on accuracy. Equipped with Witch Remain (a mythic artifact), she can apply both Frozen and defense break. Auster isn't the main DPS on the frost team; that's Hvitar. Aethereal is more of a tank.

2/ If you want to optimize Auster to deal some damage:

• Full attack
• Full crit rate
• Full crit damage
• (Skill haste via runes)

3/ If you want to optimize Lossenia:

• Full accuracy
• Full skill haste (she needs to cast her ultimate first to apply the defense break with Witch Remain)
• Full attack / crit rate / crit damage

thing is almost anything in game could be build in at least 3 ways. To apply frost you do need accuracy. Yes you can build them with or without accuracy depends on what you try to do.
Austor can do some nice dmg but he also can be really good at applying frost and apply defense down with WR cos his ulti is crazy low CD meaning almost non stop defense down on enemy. He can reduce his ulti cool down by doing basic attack so attack speed also is good on him.
Hvitar you can build her full attack and crit dmg or full enlightment or mix between enlightment and crit/attack. Depending on fight one or other will work better. Her pasive does derivative dmg (enlightment is multiplier for derivative dmg cos it cant crit) but her pasive can be active 24/7 meaning constant dmg even to its not high. Her ulti can crit and have 3 levels of dmg. 1) Normal dmg, 2) bonus if enemy are under frozen (not frost but frozen), 3) bonus based on number of enemy under frost.
Aetherial is highest dmg of all frost heroes, can be played with accuracy but need high enlightment cos her dmg is derivative dmg (cant crit). Can benefit from attack speed also. Hvitar can sometimes beat her dmg on rare ocasions do to her execution or bonus dmg when enemy low hp.
Losania is usually one of best frost applier (need high accuracy) others could even end up not using accuracy and let her apply all but not always best setup she can also use witches remains (WR) for defense down.

Thanks for the replies 🙂 the thing is, on paper, as you guys noted, they all inflict Frost. The thing about Hvitar vs. non-Hvitar is that Hvitar consumes the debuff. Yes, I've been hearing Lossenia is ideal for debuffing for a while though she's also, technically, a damage dealer. Auster himself also attempts to inflict Frost stacks! Guys like Trolgar and even Hochadir all inflict Frost (heck, even Hvitar inflicts Frost).
This is the conundrum I'm struggling with - it seems that a Frost team is not so much about "the damage guy" or "the debuffer" but a much more synergistic team with more mixed stats.
Mathematically speaking, yes, Hvitar sounds stronger than Auster but I assume it's relevant to consider the debuff consuming mechanic (especially when, in theory, it represents a "buff" for the boss).
It seems you either go with a, relatively easy to reason about, two Frost stacker (like Lossenia and Aethereal) to ensure those stacks are applied before Hvitar's ultimate and as soon as possible after her ultimate or a more sustained non-Hvitar team where you're constantly applying Frost stacks
