That depends on teams that you play. For some ppl it will be astaion for some they would bearly even use her. All 3 are really good but question you should ask is now what is best but what benefit you most based on teams you play and team you plan to build. You could argue that Astaion have little more stuff to add to team than other 2 but what if you dont have reason to use her at all

For example most ppl never touched rose till S5 and now ppl want her. Nothing abut her changed she is same as she is just now she can fit team better than other options she was always good but not much reason to use her over other options

• Flora: Since you already have Thorgos, you can build quite a good wild team with her. But I just don't like wild personally
• Chorak: Great hero once you have an artifact, as he can slot into other damage schools to provide a 50% teamwide damage boost. But you effectively need 2 copies of him
• Thorgos: Don't get another copy of him unless you are a whale. Probably good for magichess
• Aemonlayda: Beast in magichess, good in PVP, bad everywhere else

If you don't intend to build a wild team, go either Talethia or Chorak

If you intend to build a wild team, go Flora

Yes, but its marginally better than stone golem

Both are quite similar in terms of how much extra damage they give you

Cat gives 12% boost for 8s, Stone golem gives 8% boost for 10s. Assuming equal damage per second, just do some quick math:
12 * 8 = 96
8 * 10 = 80

The boost is just slightly higher if we're talking about single target bosses like vortex, not gamebreakingly higher, so you'll be fine with stone golem if you have it

If you check you started with know it all attitude i dont know all. But i do see both sides of medal and you chose to look at 1 side only. If you never get main attack% but accuracy, hp, deffense, resistence... and on 2nd stats you get high enlightment, accuracy and flat deffense increasing chance for crit chance and crit dmg dont do much its still bad gear even if its +mythic. What you do there is trade off to get top tire gear or get nothing at all until end of season. Me not wanting to explain obvious means just that not some high and mighty. You even look at rooks skills and ignore it thats all...

She can also cleanse debuff so you can time it after the hit

I have no beef with anyone but Sayyadina is right regarding rook. Rook is quite special in that his main damage comes from his ult which scales off the amount of corrosion on the boss. Attack hardly does anything for him

Concerning gear i am interested where it says that increasing the probability for a substat decreases the probability on the mainstat. I always imagined the main stat gets determined first (by whatever stupid algorithm they put behind that) and then substats are determined. Maybe i am totally wrong there. Then the crystal system would indeed by rubbish.

But the main point is that CD is miles more important on rook as compared to ATK. It's better to get 10% more CD as compared to 60% ATK (assuming you have 2 chests, one with ATK % with lower CD and another with a trash main stat like resistance but more CD)

This argument only applies to rook, not other DDs

Skills maybe random but they are generally matched with the pet.
An example: The Mimic has skills that help debuff because its power is to apply recharge pen. So there are those skills that add debuffs like Healing Pro.

yes some of us can farm entire season and not get attack as main stat and even if we get it its on wrong gear. And if you do play like this you reduce amount of gear you get making it less likely to get attack on gear you want but increase chance to get top tier gear this is just trade off. And if you are really unlucky can actually end up forced to play wrong stats on your dps

Golem I'm currently using has "allies gain 1% atk up after ult, stacks up to 6 times" which seems good, and the new Cat i just got has "allies ignore 5% def", i want to feed the Golem into the Cat and ideally get both skills, but i need waaaay more mythic pets to feed to the cat so it will guarantee get +1 skill from that fusion to increase my odds of getting both those on it

you will still miss 1 team at end and not sure wild team can handle fight good enough. Shadow could work but at best can hit only around 200 on 1 boss only. In end need 6 teams and you have 5 and 1 probably cant even handle fight.

frost was never good enough for continental and end game. Some will argue in i think S2 it worked but generally its not good in that type of fights. Sometimes you can make it hit 200 with lots of effort in tweaking but pretty sure this time even tweaking will not help. And at same time other things can do 300-1600

Unless you have fight with lots of targets and increased derivative dmg but reduced crit dmg frost would have no place

Anne was intended to be super rare. When they drop baner they promoted it like only will hapen 1 time. Doubt that but we wont see chance to get her in long time.
You have 800 baner but going over 300 on it is not worth it. On it can select hero at 100, 200,300... exclusive select is on 300 and 800. And cant pick same hero 2 times. Thats just how game is designed lets say that some here got accilia finaly 9 seasons after 🤷‍♂️
