tier lists really don't apply because content is so varied. You tend to want characters that counter a specific thing, but they may be useless elsewhere- Like for example healing reduction does nothing if a given fight includes no healing, but is nigh on required for ones that DO heal themselves

Only real misstep you can make is overinvesting in Wild units, as they get significantly worse after S1

the first 300 is 100 percent worth. the next 500 is for bigger dolphins and whales. normally an exclusive take 300 to get. yes u get to select 2 more supports but they come at 400 and then 600. which means for a non exlcusive u have spent an extra 300 dice. thats crazy. also if u watch neffs video, u will see that the 100 and 400 marks, are limited to a very small group of non premium legendaries that effectively are common

Normally you get an EX in 300 but you cant choose what you get from the start.
The premium being paid is for beign able to choose exactly what your drops will be.

Its definitely not for everyone but if a player gets to the point where random banners dont help complete inspirations, then the 800 banner is useful.
It comes down to choice
