Let's be real many of the issues in the US were caused EXACTLY by botched socialism

For example, our current health insurance industry is due to a partial regulation passed in the 1950s... originally it was supposed to cover everything, but due to two idiot parties fighting, it only covered part of things and also was handed out to companies to privatize

These companies are for profit so they started squeezing hospitals and underpaying them

Resulting in hospitals overcharging for care because otherwise they would not get paid enough to cover costs

And now we have an entrenched predatory industry that nobody can do anything about due to them being exceedingly well funded and having tons of lobbying power.

Insurance companies actually collect money both from you paying for it, as well as the govt funding it, to this very day. They collect money on both sides while screwing over both hospitals and individuals.

If this botched regulation did not happen, or was fully passed as intended, then we would not have the issues with healthcare that we do now

Tldr: the problem was caused by the fighting of our two stupid political parties

Because it is more important for them to oppose what the other party is doing rather than work together for the betterment of the country

If he liked Solo Leveling and want something similar, Shangri-La Frontier is a great choice. It’s a straightforward series, not trying to be more than what it is, epic battles and great visual design.

But if he's really looking for a well-built story, set in a deep world with properly developed characters, then go for Frieren or The Apothecary Diaries (Kusuriya no Hitorigoto).

But hey, to each their own.

Playing video games is nothing to be ashamed of. It's a form of leisure, just like movies, music, sports, or any other form of entertainment.

The comparison to drugs is, to say the least, exaggerated. While I won't deny that there's a lot of addiction in the gaming world, we're not talking about extremes.

And I don't think praising gamers is taking away credit from developers. In the end, when a game succeeds, it's thanks to both the players who play it and promote it through streaming platforms, events and tournaments, and the developers for making and maintaining the quality and identity of that games.
