Ugh I've lost count. Normally i don't sleep just because. no reason. last night i got a call from my step daughter at 2am asking for us to come pick her up from her dad's. her dad had an emergency and needed to go.
long story short, her step mom passed away in th middle of the night. due to cancer. She was fine just 2 days ago then BAM.

It is because the company is under a new brand. I cannot remember the previous name of the company. However, they have been around for several years. Let me rummage through and see what I can find. Its not private knowledge as far as I know.

The company was called Com4Loves Interactive Ltd., and was recently purchased by ByteDance. The "SGRA Studios" is probably the new sub-brand for the company.

Technically, the developers are doing what they can to promote the game. Advertising on IGN, involving content creators to help hype up the game, and creating the Discord server are fantastic starts to growing the game. The biggest part is having a community manager to be able to communicate information and positivity in a Discord server, especially if they can do it consistently. I'm sure once the game is on the verge of releasing, there will be a community manager to be available during both NA and EU time zones so that everyone is always having communication going. It would be nice to see users create fan artwork or game-based memes for Dragonheir, or maybe even fan stories based on some of the characters in the game. That would be very cool to see.

Loved Tudors i didn't get to watch it till after it was already over, my family never had hbo or whatever "movie channel" it was on back then. About the same time a movie called August Rush came out, he plays the main kid's long lost father, sings a little, love the songs he sings. it's really him singing lol

There is a Switch game where you don't attack. At all. It's a side-scrolling fighter. "Way of the Passive Fist." It's kinda fun! I enjoyed it! But, in an RPG atmosphere, you would have to find one of those games where you can be anyone you could want to be, and choose to work and stay out of trouble and aggression from anyone. You could probably get that from DnD, but it would make for a harder campaign for the GM/DM since they would end up being a taskmaster and coming up with things for you to do since you are avoiding battle.

@boreal hawk ? We discussed this in great lengths before. If you want a game that does the things you want, you will need to design it yourself. If it is something you can't fine, you have to invent it. I can't tell you the number of times, as a writer, I have had to come up with an "outside of the box" idea to add to my list of ideas that no one else is doing. Plus, it will be hard to find players willing to play a scenario where you are just working. A lot of players I know like action, adventure, romance, and more, and you want the complete opposite. It isn't that none of us are not listening. We have all heard your ideas before. We are back to where we were again. You need to "invent the wheel" yourself because the idea is radical enough that it is not that easy to find. Scour the listings on itch's website. They have a ton of radical idea RPGs and more that may be close to what you are thinking or may help you to design your own. But, yes, you are going to find a lot of people want to do more than suffer. They want to do much more.

No. I was helping. You are trying to make a game with a lack of a positive endgame. So, since you are restricting the player the thrill needed in life, you must cause them to become hallucinatory.

You will not find a large audience willing to sit down and get kicked, spit on, slapped, tortured, or worse. There is an audience for that, but the true endgame here is death. So, you must find a yin and a yang.

You need to come up with a way so that the player has the choice. If you take all choices away, the human mind cannot accept that. We have proven this time and again throughout history.

There is only a small percentage of people that want to suffer because it feels good, while there is a larger majority that chooses to fight for what they believe in.

You can’t force a player to never have anything. If you did, then there is no drive to do anything. You can make games where people will suffer, but it has to be a short game with a negative ending, or a longer campaign with a somewhat positive outcome.

Adding hallucinations as a state of mind in a game can have interesting effects, but even then the player has to have some sort of control or the game is stagnant.

Hypothetically, let’s say I was in control of tomorrow’s playtest. I cancel it at the last moment for no reason. Then, I announce it for a few days later. On that day, I cancel the playtest again. How do you think people will react after numerous attempts?

For me it's the mystery and adventures that these worlds hold. Of course like any book or movie we are just using our imaginations but being able to make choices myself, that makes the games worth playing.
A game where no matter what you do you're doomed to fail? just doesn't sound fun. Struggling, being forced to level up, gear up, become stronger, use different strategies that's fun.

Also, if anyone has a VR headset, there are some great D&D experiences/games available. Some notable ones are Demeo (the most obvious), Ancient Dungeon VR, another one with "Tavern" in the title that sets up a tabletop map/scenario for players to run scenarios on. Those were just some that I could readily think of.

I think they chose not to do that (just yet) until they feel the core mechanics are down. Then, they can make it early access. The company really wants the game polished shiny.

No, they have made others before, but I believe the territory itself is new. I know that the devs are quite seasoned.

The first part of the game is great, and has a lot of wonderful potential. The new addition that they recently added, albeit short, is unique, and I am curious to see where the story will continue from what has been shown so far.

I think things are a bit rough and taking a while because they are using new programs and methods to build the game. they name "Chaos Universum" in a description though I have no idea what it is.
which makes sense because there aren't any games exactly like this one. all the games on playstore that claim to be different and are just hero card collecting in some form.

most mobile games remove all files on deletion you can use the file cleaning software on most phones to take care of anything left behind worst case

Yeah, if you don't plan on running the playtest through multiple times for fun then you might as well just delete it all because by the next time you download whether its for a test or the game it's self the download will be completely different.

Okay. If it has been sitting on that screen, uninstall and reinstall and see if that fixes it. If not, turn off your VPN during the playtest and reactivate after the playtest is over.

if this is the end of the beta then it's boring, it's not even as good as the previous beta. In this version, access errors, lost routes, and map errors happen a lot. It's disappointing to wait for a demo like this

This version was set to test certain game mechanics. It is not meant to be a long playtest, and is NOWHERE NEAR what the final game will be. Meaning it is not representative of the full game once it is released. Yes, the playtest was short. But it was necessary for the developers to understand certain aspects that are answered in the surveys.

I was in a playtest for ten minutes, and all I did was run around a maze that was horribly unfinished, just so the devs could check shadows and lighting (BTW NOT THIS GAME). It happens and we test it and they get the info needed and wait for the next one. The full game is “anticipated” to launch in 2023, but there is no official date. I hope this clears up any confusion that any players might have with the current test.

You wouldn't want them to release the game as is would you? If the whole game had shadow and skinning problems. maybe text is messed up somewhere that's been over looked. The point of these tests are to make the game better not to finish the story YET as much as we all want to get in there. All your help and input is appreciated!
