Guin and Nastj function phenomenally well without their artifacts and can be relatively competitive in most things

Guin herself is the best solo artist in the game imo, in the sense that she can operate without any other support from her dmg school

The way banners work is basically if you pull an early exclusive (before 300) then it's guaranteed to be a new exclusive

The way the banners work now I believe is that you will choose an additional DMG school within the affinity.

Kurvida is dauntless and dauntless will be default, then you will be able to choose from TB, Summon, or Shadow... At least that is my understanding of how the banners work

So if you choose shadow as the additional school for example, then you will have the choice of selecting Kurvida Guin Nast Saverio or Ozul

Then 4th and 5th should be top row for long fights, or nasty bottom row for short fights

Both Guin and Nasty have exclusive talents that are better for short fights, and they both do better in long fights (Vortex) with top row

If you're talking pvp then there's a lot of units who will mechanically target lowest HP (like Nast herself does) and usually that is Nastj

A lot of pvp fights you'll get two Nasty punching each other in the face immediately

As F2P, I focus building 2 team, 1 to deal early game against dungeon to get gears asap, another to deal as much damage against 1 target for vortex, CC, and later boss. Ice blast is very popular team for f2p because they are good at both, but dauntless is 2 nd best at that. Problem is only against harpy because guin and Nastjenka battle skill made them target the orb instead. But if you don't have Belldelle, Guinavivre dauntless will be better

It's not actually slower just the way it feels to me

I think currently IB Dauntless Aura and Shadow are very strong choices for most content, I use them a lot. My summon puts up the most consistent DMG to long fights regardless of st or aoe.

Hi all. I have the major DPS heroes in all but Dauntless, Burn, Lightning and Poison, got the exclusive for Belledelle (so not entirely spread thin). Picked up Reytah and have some other good supports and (after a mistake) will have to wait a couple of more weeks to get Talethia. In the meantime I might be able to scrape another 300 pulls... so the new frost or corrosion champs? Frost champ looks cool and corrosion has been disappointing for me... or should I finally bite the bullet and go for an exclusive artefact on someone? If the latter, who do you think would benefit most? Lelanwis maybe? I play mostly pve... pvp less important. Thanks for your time!

Also depends on how many dices you expect. You're gonna have the ability to pull Khrysos this season which gives a lot of value fire and any affinity fire is on

Is this Aura team worth focusing if I pull a Talethia from a choice chest I have? Probably planning on saving summons for a future banner. But also hear a ton about Ice Blast… I could pull a few Ice Blast units from chests and go that route, as well.

Just really not sure what the best use of these chests will be. Any advice would be appreciated!

My point was that you can't pull a shinnah and a whisk/sacradia on that banner then consider getting rook. One dmg school will be frost. No choice. The other will be one of IB/toxin/corrosion, your choice. Unless they've made changes from CCN, but I doubt it.

For the other type of banner, we have to wait until the end of the season and the options banner.

No. It will improve your score for Vortex, continental challenge, end game and might make some content a bit easier, but it is not necessary for either pve or pvp. That said, if you're talking competing for the highest slot, then yes. It probably is necessary. And it will be useful for all dmg schools.

So metah IB team is 4 IB and 1 support, typically Felosia. In this case I would try with Blah Blah instead... Hard to say which produces better results

I think this, first season Fey is always rocky. And I don't mean to discourage the grind, but it is a season long event and it's kinda expected that newer players will struggle with a thin roster and scroll bottleneck.

The problem is following: how big of a whale you plan to be, and did you plan to use them for pvp as well?
Both aren't great in dungeon, except maybe frost in venom (admittedly the most difficult grave, but building a team for just one dungeon..)
Corrosion is great for vortex, continental challenge, and final boss, but requires a lot of investment, including inspiration and artifact.
Frost have some use in pvp but still pale in comparison to aura and shadow team.
Either way if you are F2P better save it for more versatile team like ice blast or dauntless. Though optimal dauntles might become the most expensive team in the future when they get 3rd exclusive dps, while lightning still doesn't have seasonal challenge hero like Ardreth.

I choose Aethereal because at that time I've already summoned... my vortex and dungeon team is becoming Dauntless instead of votex and I'll pull for Kurvida when she comes out... btw I'm low spender but I was saving dice for a while and had enough for 4 banners so I pulled on this banner to see if I'll get luck and maybe get early Szecedith so I could choose Rook on selectable and make a Corrosion team at least for CC, but got no early premium I stick with Aethereal

you can build them the same for dungeons as for vortex and it's fine

pretty much same build scross the board

talethia takes crit stats and hp% atk% - diantha is secondary dps and can build in mythics for dungeon - throw in lincos + shahla for speedruns and a journ and if you're having trouble living you can throw in khrysos or gillian or acilia or any number of radiant / fire tanks etc.

Yeah, I've been using Aemon as substitute tank for fey, to trigger TAlethia. Who should I use for Diantha? Right now I used Anneliesis or Aemon for witch remains instead of Diantha

and you can probably run aemonleyda as your tank it's fine, aemon / journ / anneliesis / talethia / lincos should do fine

or make journ your tank and drop aemonleyda and put in shahla for speedrunning

if you have khrysos he makes a good dungeon tank if you're struggling to speedrun clear

just make sure talethia has highest attack so she gets buff from lincos

this is what i run for all my dungeons, and I have this on both diantha and lincos to buff talethia

also make sure to put shield mythic on anneliesis for extra dps

and i have journ built as tank

Acilia works for Aura. I managed top 5 Vortex with her for a few weeks before the whales got their dupes up and im sticking it out in the top ten. She's handy sitting just off Sagomir's shoulder in PvP as well to help with clean up after the Talethia nuke

Best generalist is witch remains (def penalty), rift hourglass (acc and skill haste), golden alarm (up to 30% damage boost, the highest generalist. Then the team building related: Dragon pearl is the best if you can have all hero on the same element so very good for radiance/necrosis/poison because their balanced support available (lightning best healer is still Nathaniel, fire and ice only have limited healer each albeit Synarell and Feenja are top 10 healer to me), chest of radiance because also easy team building requirement AND can be worn by tank (tank artifact is lower priority, so support artifact that can be used by tank is good until you get enough spare dupes), solar king horn for healer over time (so many available including free Torrin). For a decent Frost team (what I saw), I would choose Hvitar, Aethereal and Lossenia

As you are missing alll other IceBlast heroes Beldelle is more of a future option but will not work for now

Use Corrin (epic) as toxin inflictor until you get Durango (leg). He also refreshes stacks to help you keep more up. He was in main Toxin teams until more recently. As far as dmg, it'll be battle specific. Both are more accessory units than main dps. I usually can get epic toxin dps working just as well if not better.

Eh, Fey speedrunning isn't really that important anyway, it's just nice bit of resources for the real important part, the continental challenge and later the final boss. I only finished Fey 300 once level 100 is unlocked.

dauntless is one of top teams, bit less flexible than aura but can also be more reliable and consistent in how they do dmg. Ice blast is another strong team. Burn team was doing good. Summon was doing good. Not sure but with wolf now shadow probably will be doing

guin is one of rare units that can perform alone. Usually dps need enabler even if 1 but need. She was always performing even alone. Really good unit

1hit, 3hits, 1hit, 3hits... When she ulti its 5hits... per attack. But this is not main sourc of dmg this is just self enebling or team enabling. Main source of dmg is mark she put with battle skill...

yeah each fight is about the strategy and timings moreso than specific units

in general you want to focus on one tank, one main dps, one sub dps that enables main dps, and 2 supports specific to the dungeon

when you're starting out that's generally the easiest way to build

eventually you can go 2-3 dps + 1-2 enablers + 1 support and speedrun some things though

At this point you probably just run eurion / torrin / lelwanis / astaion / zhar'loth. Do you have lelwanis' artifact?

otherwise you can run lossenia as a solo dps with the mask artifact and build tanks / healers to keep team alive

or you can pull the old school voresh + sigrid nuke

if voresh goes before sigrid to place debuffs on whole board, when sigrid ults she hits everybody
