horrus main tank, frurb off tank.... meggan, errich, sigrid. as free to play as it gets. straight back from horrus you put sigrid at the back and errich in front of her, both should target the boss. meggan just off to the side.

venom9 that is. of course if you dont have legendary gear suited for tanking and damage sufficient, you wont beat it

curse.... frurb up front, adolphus, grover... time their ults just before boss ult on 18s rotation. errich and sigrid shoul dbe plenty for damage there as well

rot... fitz, frurb, oggok, adolphus, sigrid. may lack damage but should be easy to survive. time fitz cleanse for after all the debuffs are up, sigrid ult just before boss chomps frurb. adolphus, oggok and frurb ult just after frurb is back from chomp

Question: Grave of Venom. As I am trying out new line ups I noticed that sometimes one of the team heros gets one shot right off the bat and in others it doesn't. It does seem to have something to do with positioning of the heros but I can't figure out the key to getting it to stop happening. Anyone able to help pls?

it's very easy to farm venom 9 even with level 90s in epic gear in season 3, where the boss is harder, just need to gear and position correctly and you're golden

you can use horrus main tank, frurb second tank, heks for heals, sigrid, and fire MC. position horrus center, frurb below him; heks off to the side up front top and fire MC + sigrid straight back from horrus at the back

since you have 2 melee up front, no one else gets hit with aoe

adolphus, irina, grover all use ults at 16s initial and 18s repeat. sigrid ult at 17s so she does damage after grover lands defense down from artifact.... garius uses ult 19s initial and 18s repeat.

means you need 18s ults, lots of haste and scrolling needed for all units.

most of the time 1 dispel is all you need to get the boss damage down to avoid a big shield; so irina should be ok for that so long as she doenst fail her dispel check... issue is also she is only 1 hit ult so it is a tiny gamble that is doomed to fail 3% of the time. having another unit with dispel as a backup is nice. deverick or voresh for example are 2 strong choices that are epics.

the dauntless/rally hybrid team is weirdchamp... there are no good debuffs, no healing... you should drop tathlyn/hegio and run irina + merideth. or drop vani/shagrol and do that. hegio/tathlyn prob better damage since it hits multiple targets

if you have thelendor and philto, alton can be witch remains and loren the enabler + staff garius tank. or drop alton, bring iola. if you ned ranged only you bring huberg + philto and drop thelendor.

hvitar best frost damage, lossenia is the best enabler in game but also can deal damage if statted right.... auster second best damage. drizzt is melee and mostly useful in arena. rowena after auster for ranged damage, dorkruz after that. usha is basically drizzt but more useful in pvp bc she self shields... but still a melee. rava is like a lesser lossenia that cant damage.

flora > felicity > errich > tonalnan/rhash. you dont use flora and caspar together, they dont make sense. rhash is excellent but ult is not multi hit so cant hold witch remains, and errich is more useful as an enabler for more wild check success. felicity best witch holder for single target.

nast, ivellios, tharivol best 2 dauntless in game period. sutha > garrett bc garrett sacrifices his own hp for damage,. which can be detrimental in a glass cannon... more useful in pvp to kill tanks than in pve imo, especially as a melee. sutha is tanky and good for both... nast is a jumper in arena and high dps in pve, but mostly for bosses where melee doesnt matter.

premtsa, zadok, gaiolere is best ranged summon team... lelwanis is great for content like arena, fey or pillar where melee do not matter... irz and scharlach are trash.

twitch, durango, lothair best poison team... corrin epic with hourglass + durango/twitch + lothair is monster vortex derivative team... jath and vicana are niche endgame/ow units but otherwise not used.

ofc it all depends on affinity which changes season to season...

well off the bat let me point out you are using aoe damage type (Frost) vs a single enemy, so you'll never get good damage with that team. also, with the heroes you have in radiance/fire you have a strong support roster for s3 since they are now in affinity. garius, elminster, errich, nedda, bronwyn would probably give you significantly higher damage in vortex then the frost team. you could even try durem, beags, lyle burn team (but again aoe, so not as good for single target)

Enna helps with fire domain. Usha's good for goblin and a staple unit for frost. Letalis can enable sigrid if she doesn't have voresh or dench or another wide area debuffer. Quarion's a good healer. Altin, Loris, Edgar, good for OW and possibly endgame S1 when you don't have a ton of higher ranked tanks to choose from. Gloin's good for pvp. Vani, Yagnatz and Haug are all gonna be used for otherworld team dps for most low spenders.

I wouldn't bother with building dauntless team now cuz your priority is: venom and goblins
For venom frur garius mc sigrid +1 (could be heks meggan voresh etc) gets you to venom9 without a problem
For goblins you use frur sigrid dench mc + 1 aie debuffer

By the time you reach v9 and goblins 3-3 and progress the story you probably have better units for vortex

for most of those maps you can just stack tanks and healers and outlast them. also use the whirlwinds to plop your units across the map or to force the enemy to move into a position you would prefer to group them. irma, frurb, sagomir, hocha, heks would be what i'd try. spread out the tanks at the start to force the targeting from the various enemies so you dont get one tank being hit by all of them and just outlast them

Theres nothing to really help with in s3. You didnt pull synarell or the bride/groom and you have no ice blast from s2. You have rally so thats good s3 i guess… garius, philto, lorentheel, tathlyn, sagomir. Better if you have gatekeeper staff on garius. No acilia so flame domain will be difficult. No felosia/vinyara/bride so no poison team even with frurb. Necro/lightning weak in s3 but can try garrett tharivol torrin irma irina maybe. Will be dicey with melee dps but wont be usable for flame domain bc no thia, no iola.

For endgame specifically no, you want your teams to have matching affinity but they do not need to be mono-element. Chief challenges (otherworld and continental) give a 100% damage bonus to units with the right element, so they work better with mono element for the damage dealers at least.

That is the vortex boss. That's basically a giant leaderboard for whales. Matching the buffs on that is recommended but probably not easy for anyone that's not playing with a credit card in one hand.

It's a combination of dungeon events, world bosses, and heliolite dice.

You need 200 currency to get her.

Dungeons earn you 90 currency if you max out all the events. I'm sure you've seen similar events in game that tell you to do goblin and give you a bunch of bread and wyrmarrow if you do enough.

World bosses earn you 5 currency each if you deal 22 million damage, totaling 90 currency if you do 22M on every boss. They are weekly and give a 100% buff to a specific element's damage. Week 1 you can hit 3 of them of your choice, week 4 you can hit all 6. They also give a ranking based on your total damage across every one you hit for a chunk of currency.

The heliolite dice give you 20 currency per 20 heliolite dice spent during the event, up to 60. There's 0 downside to pulling here, as the legendary pity during this banner carries over between the 0/80, 0/100, 0/100 banners that reset each month. It also gives free stuff like legendary scrolls.

So if you do really well on the bosses and complete the dungeon events, you only need to pull 20 heliolite dice. Which is cheap compared to the usual 35 to pull a legendary.

But if you do badly, it's 40-60 dice. Which is still honestly a steal because ardreth is the best tank for many players even going into season 3+.

If you're looking to maximize your score you're either hitting 14 bosses and a domain(special dungeon) (whales in season 1, more common season 2, pretty much expected season 3) every single day in addition to the regular dailies, or doing 4 fetch quests and a combo of world bosses and domains.

It's an hour or two more at the least each day and a lot of it becomes mindless once you have teams set up.

At the Chief Challenge time you get double drop rates for legendary craft materials
Dungeons: Grave of Venom, Heretical Ruins, Ancient Battlefield, Grave of Rot, Grave of Curse would be my most important row of what you should do.
Grave of Curse you need mostly one Set for your main tank to take dmg, that's why it's at the end

in S1, it is basically Sigrid and friends. Mine is Sigrid, Dane, Frurbath, Dench, Letalis. Everybody is enabler for Sigrid.
This build shines when you got your Sigrid to lvl when she one-shot the gobbo wave. You also want max heroes, who can do diamond shape or whole-board aoe, cause you can catch the whole wave. Dench is there because he can aoe debuff with his battle and ult skill.
The variations then are about impact dmg/debuff ratio. Some S1 people are using Yamyra with great success.

well first off you are using 90s; are they all 90+ or are they locked at 90 with no negative rune? bion spams stun basically, so you need like 450 resist to ensure your front row unit is not being stunned constantly... and you'll need quite a bit of healing to keep a melee alive. using usha there is a real bad idea. especially when i see lossenia level 1. you have basically no healing, so you shouldnt be surprised you dont get more than 3m.

frost MC will at least give you shields. but you need healing. estella maybe if oyu have her but doesnt look like it? all ranged damage and elvis needs to be at least 99 and high resist or he's just going to sit there stunned and die.

Acilia, Garius, and Meggan isn't enough healer, despite already putting 2000+ def on all heroes. I used Voresh to apply def down. I put Ardeth for additional healing, Resistance, and defense buff. In the end Meggan died halfway, but high resistance Ardeth means she wasn't taunted until the end. My problem previously is that I can cut down spidermom to 40% health in 4 minutes and then Ardeth got taunted.

Yeah Errich need double tank. Either you keep 3 dauntless and made Meredith tank, or 2 tank, Meredith, 2 dauntless (one probably carry crown)

if you have gerthin to go with that shinnah and garius to tank for you, yes ice blast for sure carries you all season. frurb + oggok is also pro if you have a dauntless squad (i dont see any dauntless legos.

i am confused however why you only have 7 legos total after an entire season...

I am also confused why I have so few of them.
I'm F2P. No Legos from horn. Maybe spent too many dice getting elminster? He was my first lego other than errich. Got oggok late in S1. Most of those Legos are S2 as well. Got dupe of questitia even.
I don't have garius, but could get him with the next epic chest when it comes up for sale.

Other than elminster, I've only gone for the main banner. Maybe I'm not getting as many dice as I should be? I don't know.

Question: I unlocked Tonalan and I see she performs better when she has other wild heroes to boost wilds stacks. I dont have a large variety of wild heroes outside of her but which if these is the best option for Vortex? I see that Errich and Nedda are the most commonly used but wanted to understand why.

Your question is your answer.
Wild works better with another’s wilds. It’s the mechanic like the other mechanics (dauntless, ice blast, rally) with more heroes the same mechanics, more easy to do a buff of this mechanic.
Tonalnan works great with Errich and Nedda, just put two supports. If you are season01.

Tonalnan, Errich, nedda, frubrah and Adolphus works good

Stack defense on both Horus and garius and pay attention the skills boss does. It shows you the pattern of damage and try to put damage dealers around the board outside of the damage area.

I keep getting stuck questing by the level cap. I literally did one last night that required me to be 27 to continue story and after doing that got stuck right after having to get to level 28. Any way to level that faster?

Which of these is the better enabler? Lego gives rally on ultimate recharge (26 sec) and epic gives rally every 6th basic attack. It seems like the epic would do better for overall damage.

Lorentheel is a must if you want really decent dps rally team. Tathlyn is kinda ok rally enabler

well, with ice blast it is a bit tricky. how much benefit are you getting from emperor to damage vs stacks you can guarantee by using battle skill so many times on ice blast to proc inventor. i want to say that belldelle could go with inventor in many cases unless you can get her up to like... 5000-6000 attack. but maybe someone else can confirm @hollow fiber in s2 was inventor or emperor better for belldelle.

and as far as shinnah, i dont think she even matters. she's a witch remains holder and should be on cyril set since she does no damage anyway. bleddyn as offdps secondary enabler can likely be on emperor since his attack will be less than belldelle's (since she's a lego, her stats scale higher). but again, dont have either myself so cant say for sure. in most cases, emperor is best in slot s2
