Basicly Garius will remove debuff himself, so its a waste imo. Frurb build tanky enough so he lives long for Heks/Himself removing debuff. Also as MrowMrif2 said, adolphus probably better than frurb. Just make sure heks is next to Garius so they tank the 2nd skill. GL

meggan, horrus, garius, sigrid, fire MC.. horrus main tank in middle, garius just below him up front (draws boss attention for the aoe so only tanks get hit); meggan removes defense down on horrus and heals him with battle skill so he survives round 1; garius heals him once his ult charges. sigrid and fire MC are damage. i'd prefer eli over fire MC so that eli holds defense down artifact on his multi hit ultimate for more dps.... but whatever. fire MC and sigrid are in the middle behind horrus but at the back (in a row). they should only target the boss with their basic attacks.

You just need resistance armor and jewel, these will make the run easier.. i managed to clear it with Garius, Sigrid, Enna, Adolphus and Heksandra

by the time you fight purple dragon you should have def% main body and hands, +10 or better banner artifact for your tank and be level 90 for your entire team

tank should be in epic green sets x2

attacker(s) should be in epic attacker sets x2 with crit% main hands and attack% main body

debuffers should have enough accuracy to land the debuffs on the boss and should also have crit% main hands

you should have attack down and defense down capabilities

i cant speak to your particular struggles, but i have 2 sons who are on the spectrum. they also have ADHD causing focus problems, which i could see affecting ability to pay attention to details in a game like this and deal with all the different requirements that change based on the challenge

they take meds for their ADHD and it helps them focus

if you are using legendary gear, you should have 3 piece sets. 3 piece ancestral protector set for tank with def% hands and body with def main runes and def% stats on all pieces that arent body/hands... hp% subs also ideal and some haste doesnt hurt

You don't need attack on either. Frur needs accuracy. Both want def more than hp but hp isnt bad

Just defense and defense on Garius. You never need more than 65-70k health on Garius really. His heal scales off of Defense.

Fru also scales off defense. It is good to get him accuracy so his debuff lands, but again 70k health is fine. The 3rd stat that is good for him is attack speed, so his passive goes off more often.

Large health pools are cool and all, but not at the loss of defense typically. But for vortex, the lit bolt scales off the size of health of your tank, so typically the 60-70k health aim with as much defense as possible is the goal so the tank lasts 5ever.

Lastly, Ancestral 3pc set is very important for your tank. You always want a 3pc ancestral set on them except in very niche cases, a 3 ears brotherhood set.

So this fight is a lot about gear, levels, and having enough heals/being tanky enough. You're also running 3 affinity there, you may want everyone with same affinity for more stat bonuses. Thing is we dont know what your bonuses/enemy bonuses are, we don't know what other healers you have a available, and likely melee is not useful to you for dps in this fight. TBH, if its giving you a hard time and you dont have the control or aoe to deal with it, just outlevel it.

We also have to know where your failure point is - not enough heals, who dies first, what

Enlightenment. She really doesn't need accuracy if everything times right with her passive. I try for crit and enlightenment cause her damage ain't bad either. She can carry witch, hourglass, whatever you want. Shes also great in stun sets.

Best frost enabler in the game imho. Shes really good. Just use her with frost characters. Shes good in pvp too. I like her as a witch/crown carrier too if Im not using Voresh for that. Give her enough accuracy and none of your other frosts should need accuracy for frost application.

You might try Garius for Tank/Heals Bleddyn&Nord for your DPS, Voresh for debuff to do more damage and off heal and maybe Pargu for more debuffs. Since levels don’t matter worth trying, what have you tried so far?

Elminster, frurb, errich on defense down artifact with accuracy setup and dps gear set… elminster high accuracy and enlightenment 300+ on brotherhood set with good skill haste and accuracy… alternate frurb and elminster ults so you have 100% attack down debuff uptime…

And use nedda + bronwyn rares

Frurb your only heals but elminster on high enlight and skill haste going to have shields up all the time to reduce damage

Keep attack down on boss 100% by alternating ults

And just time damage ults after errich applies defense down

You will only need like 10-20 pulls and clear event

Just got Felicity yesterday but my vortex score still couldnt go higher than 16m, same as when i use my previous lineup

My previous lineup was Frurbath, Adolphus, Tonalnan, Errich and Sigrid.. then, i changed Sigrid to Felicity

I guess Sigrid's atk down helps to maintain survivability to score nore but overall dps is higher with Felicity.. and i dont have anyone to remove def down debuff

Not sure what to tweak.. any suggestion?

Felicity should be 100% crit and enough accuracy to land defense down in attacker gear. Frurbath should have enough accuracy to land attack down while tanking. That team if you have good gear should put up easily 30m on vortex iv

Yea so s1, I did Felicity in gamblers and 100% crit, tonalnan gamblers 80%, Errich brotherhood 100% crit with witch, Fru with enough accuracy and horn, and Sifris on staff, and I went over 50m just fine. The trio works well. Time tonalnan after errich and youre fine.

Unfortunately there really is no real replacement for sifris, not even vicuc for that. But vicuc may work better than adolphus.

Hoping for some S1 new server/player advice. I'm 15 hours from the end of free reset and I doubt I'll get many more pulls before then. I feel like I have the makings of 2 good teams to get through elemental shards:

1. MC (fire), Heksandra, Horrus, Sigrid, Horace (or Voresh or Eli though Horace seems better)
2. MC (Ice), Heksandra, Usha, Voresh and ??? I'm missing a frost setup for Usha but still have rare selection chest that I can use on that.
   For Golem something like MC, Usha, Sigrid, Voresh and Frost setup for Usha/Sigrid seems like it could work.
   I also have a few alternates like Enna who are useful for things that need debuff removal.

I'd really appreciate any advice where to focus first. I can clear Ice to level them to 90, MV is already at 89, and then fire/poison to level them.

So tbh your best team is kiiinda just Horrus, Heks, Fire MC, Sigrid. Voresh is great for you with 3 affinity, but if you want 5 youre using dench or letalis. Straight single target dps, Eli instead of Voresh. Horace is great, don't get me wrong, but youll likely get more mileage out of Eli's captain buff coupled with him running crown.

For now on your second team...probably adrie if auto-timing isn't a concern for you.

Rare selection chest theres not much in there for Frost tbh, you're better off grabbing quarion so you have a healer to go with your Rad/lit, or Irina for another solid dps from Lit. Zethos is good single target for frost, and can frost deliver and run crown single target wise. Past that in rares you don't have, Meggan is another core want.

Personally Id say delevel horace and Isolde for now. Everyone else is going to still be usable for you.

The latter makes sense since I already have enough shards for her I can level her now and use her with MC ice to get shards for A team. I'll just sit on that chest for now, it'll take me several days to get A team leveled up. Would it make sense to level Nedda for goblin AOE since I'll have so many fire shards as a side effect of getting shards for heks, sigrid and letalis ?

Yea I'd drop horace, and if you wanna stick with 5 affinity, I'd honestly suggest letalis for groups, and Eli for single target (bosses). Letalis is solid cause he provides debuffs for Sigrid.

Nedda is awful for goblin.

Goblin just do voresh+sigrid, pick a melee whatever or use horrus and turn his ulti off, and 3 more aoe characters (prolly fire MC, Letalis, Eli). Like Voresh SHOULD be enough to keep everyone alive. If you had more frost aoe'ers Id be telling you 3 frost, Voresh, and Sigrid.

Zharloth is actually awesome just Adrie does some really cool stuff to bosses. But, Enna is the best way to beat Fire dungeon, so you're kinda almost always early season going for a Lit/x team

Have to see what you have for poison comp total. Vicana since she got fixed (nerfed) hasn't been good for a while. Durango is mostly a poison applier. Vicana is a poison exploiter but is better for aoe. So it also kinda depends what content youre going at too.

You did nothing wrong being a new player and not knowing each hero :). It's just that for the first 7 days, you can level up different heroes to try out, then reset them to get the exp pots back and try lvl up another instead and test out.

If grindingearz's suggestion doesnt work - you can keep rose but shes unnecessary if your gear is strong enough, add in nord, zhorak or even Seidic. Bled is honestly a poor damage dealer.

Heretical is best with overwhelming single target dps to burn through the birds asap. Voresh or Rose can just be your witch engine with some extra dps. But single target focus is what you want to just kill the birds asap.

Overall no, in vortex yes. Reason: All he needs to do is trigger Schaltar's ulti and deliver witch. In tests in s1 a lot of us poors (well I was pretty poor account wise at that time) found shagrol increased dps over iola on vortex. The attack down is nice, and a few people would do better on vortex with her instead of shagrol, only to find out they didn't gear right, and when they did, Shagrol would beat out Iola for overall damage in vortex.

Yea in your comp, debatable gambler vs Cyril on shaggy. Schalty is all Abyss set with enlightenment/attack and skill haste. Nimbus gambler, attack speed and crit 97%+. Fru and Nathaniel gear as normal.

So very few dauntless characters are good with inventor over gambler. You can try it, but its gonna come down to really which has better stats. In equal stats situations, gambler will win on Dauntless.

Depends what kind of supports you have, but summon was my highest endgame dragon team in S1. I used premsta / irzillas / zadok / zhar'loth / utior.

You are missing zadok so the best bet there is gaiolere / lelwanis / joyce maybe and then two supports. Shame you don't have zadok he's really strong on a summon team. Might end up just dropping joyce i don't have her so not sure how well she does on a lelwanis team, but lelwanis should deal a ton of damage to endgame boss paired with gaiolere

every one of those units should have close to 100% crit first off... i know epic gear so maybe say 75%? but they also have super low accuracy. are you landing debuffs with every unit? because you should be.

i'd say in epic gear, 75% crit, 2500 attack and 125 accuracy minimum on every unit there is reasonable for 90+ units

and for instance, sigrid.... you have only one 2-piece set, and it is attack speed? why not have her in 2x2 piece barbarian sets? that right there is another what... 30% crit or something just for the two sets? that puts her at 100%... she doesnt need attack speed, she needs burst damage.

accuracy chest, crit% hands, accuracy negative rune, crit damage or attack positive rune. attack%, crit, crit damage subs on every piece, maybe a couple more accuracy subs if it rolls

but you could gear all units the exact same there.

at 90+ you should really be farming legendary gear though at this point instead of wasting bread on farming low level goblins, domains and epic gear doodoo

stop at 95 for levels, worry about 100 later strategically. the stat differences arent significant enough to justify the spend of the stamina instead of using it on gear farming early season

full sets of lego gear far more important than having units from 95-100

for instance i stop farming gear by week like.... 6

and then it is all unit progression for otherworld teams until the end of season.

You're going to have a far easier time once you get more heroes, gear (which is very important) and maxed out psychicore

I'd focus on farming enough Venom on stage 9 to gear your DPS units (took me about 300 runs in S1)

Sigrid, zharloth, garius are must level obviously. But you lack depth of roster to create a significant 5 affinity team of any kind, so focus on 3 affinity for now. Garius, zharloth, sigrid, letalis, caspar wouldnt be horrible for most dungeons and story content for now

You need balance. You should level to 90 all units in goblin team but you shouldnt be doing low level crap goblins

And you shouldnt be doing domain 2-3 to get to 90. That is fine for low level accounts to get to 70 but not grind to 90

And you should be in epic gear by 90

So i would go to 70 for all units and then get epic gear for all units but not perfect stats. Then go get them to 90

Then start farming dungeon 6-7

Ehhhhh wait on it, you kinda want to focus on Fire/Pois & Lit/Rad as they have more healers.

Ripe is a good Legendary, and has some really powerful uses (Pillars, Fey, PVP, some end game bosses), but if you were to pull another Legendary that is more useful to you in the next week you'll regret the scroll investment.

Horrus, Fru, Garius, are all better generalized tanks than Ripe.

Yep, and you want to use both Witch's as well as Crown if the heroes fit for example. I can actually greatly use Stegamoffyn and Jathalea (unlucky drops before), so I got 4 teams with 400M total damage. eh, not really though. their dps is just lackluster despite the kit synergy - check their multipliers, they just arent amazing. they are great in enabler roles for other units that need poison or a debuff to have extra damage

you have overlap in irina and frurb attack down, so you want to stagger their ults so you have max uptime of the attack down on everything

be better off with sigrid instead of irina obviously

positioning on this is important, the spiders spawn behind front line and will kill your squishies. also you need regen ticks to take off the stacks; so meggan, enna, nathaniel, acilia, etc. and have like 2 of them in the group is ideal on top of garius and ardreth

you could go voresh, sigrid, garius, acilia, nathaniel and just stack everyone together and it would be better than what you have going on there 🙂

because it looks like you are really early game from number of units perspective... but you have 90s. which means you either reset everything and dumped xp into one team before the first week was up or you are grinding like crazy on low level domains wasting your stamina just to level up...

you should 100% NOT be grinding units to 100, you should be progressing your gear and xp on units evenly so you can efficiently farm goblin 3-3 for xp to go 90-100 with most units, not grind low level trash dungeons for same stamina cost and like 1/3 the value

level 50 units are good to get you through a lot of the story, you dont NEED to push to level them to 70 just because you can.... certainly not push crap units up in level and waste stamina grinding low level domains

for instance you could be running merideth (common healer), duling, martina, wellby, quarion as a second team

and they can farm flame domain for you. not well though; you'd want enna in there for cleanse and irina for attack down; so that team would be ok for flame domain like 2-3 but wont be able to push you higher. but you shouldnt need to for now; just focus on progression of story to unlock new dungeons and get more pulls

more pulls = better units/more units to build from

one team is enough for that at 50 until almost until you get to the green dragon

General progression is where I am stuck in Southern Adenthia.

I don’t hold dice and summon purple any time I see I have five of them or more in my inventory. Sometimes grind an hour or two and then do 2-3 batch summons if made some decent progress. Orange just bought some with gems so getting ready to use them and hope for some luck.

I can do Goblins 2-1 currently with my team but I can’t reach the max score. Even from the last time when these were at 70 and you said I was at a decent setup all I did since was be able to get to the point of the Orcs in the Old Highlands.

summon on main banner not blessed, every 7 you get an epic so that should at the least give you some more options to work with

but yeah dont push super hard low level dungeons, you want to use stamina on the highest level dungeons possible as you progress. keep bouncing back and forth between venom and curse to gear units, then do domains, then goblins, then back to gear dungeons to push higher

dont spend a bunch of time at a low tier dungeon wasting your stamina

About 9 or 10 days in and have a solid team of MC, horrus, heks, sigrid, letalis plus voresh, adrie and enna for situational fights. All are between 70 and 90, clearing goblin 2-4, venom/curse6 and ice domain4. I just pulled my first leggo, Sutha who by all accounts is a solid DPS for things like vortex but not necessarily game changing. So should I continue to advance my main team to 95 for leggo gear and bring him up later or should I shift gears and get him up to 90 now and slot him in where useful, e.g fey and vortex. Prior to pulling him I was pondering bringing Usha from 1 to 90 to help in areas where I needed more punch like fire domain even though I still have no reliable frost debuff

What problems are you encountering?

Composition-wise :

Frost is good, option for inclusion - Dorkuraz (Check if you really need Voresh)

For Necro : You can focus on Buff and use Usha + Dorkuraz / Lethander, Thia, Meggan, The Golem Necro-Guy

For Poison : Check if Dench is better than Sigrid

For Fire : Swap Liko for Alfie,

For Radiant : Clovis, Quarion, Hegio, Tathlyn, Wellby

On Necro team, it looks like.. you have too much survivability that you lacking dmg.. Maybe, you can leverage survivability of Necro thru Thia and Meggan and damage thru Usha and Dorkuraz, then tweak the last member based on what you need

On Fire, Isolde makes shield on those around her so make them surround Isolde, damage-wise and synergy, I think Liko won't amp u up that much.. Check if an addt'l WILD damage dealer can be included

On the other frost team.. It should yield more damage and should be able to survive w/ Gillian and Voresh, do you have the tank set for Dalbamm? and mirror for Gillian? Build Rava w/ ACC for more frost and Rowena w/ ASPD, alternatively you can swap Voresh for addt'l dmg if he's lacking it and you can survive w/ Gillian alone

On Poison, I think it'll work too.. are you lacking on damage or survivability? Option i can think of removing is Sigrid for Dench to maximize Poison stack for Horace

well, you have gaiolere, which pairs well with other ranged summoners. i prefer zadok to joyce, but the two of them together are usually the non-lego preference. you could always just go gaio + joyce and be pretty much same potential. catherine is one of very few options for immunity, so i'd lean that way.

poison is notoriously poo for vortex unless you using lothair team... unless you absolutely have to use them and have no other legendaries... honestly i'd go errich, tonalfan and maybe nedda or bronwyn rare wilds if you have tonal. frurb, elminster, errich, tonal, nedda is at least a 30m damage vortex IV team

but your poison team as described will be kinda lackluster, maybe barely 20m

If you're fully geared you could run it with staffgar, voresh, shin, bel, and a level 1 ice character

If you're not, time catherine to block the burn debuffs and use the above instead of the level 1 ice character.

Otherwise same stuff but enna instead of catherine and whatever you feel like running from Pois/lit. Like nothing changed from S1 about that boss really. You should be able to do it with Fru, Enna, Iola, Irina, and sigrid in t3 gear.

you have a level 70 on a team of varied 70-100 units trying to kill 145 enemies that have a variety of aoe, burst damage and survivability. i think the only suggestion here is to build a better team? i see sigrid on the bench and think "why is sigrid on the bench?"

also you are positioned like crap so you cant heal everyone with heks s3

and i see adolphus there level 2 and sigrid level 2 and i want to throw up

meanwhile you using 2 radiance unit dps melees in a team that is 3+ affinity fire/poison...

means they get 0 benefit being there and are going to die even easier

my suggestion: reset martina and gitouna (radiance is probably the weakest standalone element if you have no legendaries in it and you should really just avoid it altogether early game)... use that xp to dump into adolphus and sigrid. gear sigrid with attack and accuracy. gear adolphus with an enlightenment body. position so that horrus front center, sigrid where heks is now, adolphus up and 1 square over to the right so they are not adjacent and are at diagonals; fire MC same thing but below horrus and sigrid by a tile... heks position anywhere, she should be tanky enough to survive without being in the diamond for heals

and scroll them all.

prob can hold off scrolling horrus though. epic scrolls precious

Guys congratulate me!!! I finally cleared First Radiance Tover 60/60 that was epic brainstorm and milliseconds control to kill last boss.... And O did that with like ..3 seconds to failure...

Auto farm in fire/necro tover to 55/60 today I can clear it with easy i think... But... What to do with poison tower??? I newer used that much neither Lightning nor Poison...

grats on radiance, i'm stuck on boss floor but i'll get it before end of season.... poison/thunder was easiest for me tbh. sigrid, iola, frurb, nathaniel, irina/lothair.... just a bunch of stun sets and burst dps and was easy enough

it is 1/8 on the banner. first 35 you get a random one. if it isnt the one you "blessed" it gets a SLIGHT bonus on your next 35 to be the one.... and i say slight.

you could spend hundreds or thousands of dollars USD not getting your one unit you thought you'd get

gotta read the banner and understand the rates and mechanics and not blindly waste your dice

you could pull 35 dice and get one you didnt want.... then pull 35 more, not get the one you want... again and again and again

i've seen it happen, a friend of mine spent $1000 just to get one hero he wanted

unlss you are a huge spender, you only pull on the main banner and that's it. because that pity counter continues perpetually and there are additional benefits of potentially pulling an exclusive

You can accept that you might not get the hero you want and hit pity on those banners without getting what you want. There is an objectively higher chance of getting one of those eight heroes compared to the general pool.
You just lose out on the exclusives over time.

well you can position heks near horrus and that will force her to take the ult also, but you'll need attack down more consistently and longer uptime than horrus battle skill

280 is too high, you only need like 200 before your affinity bonus kicks in and makes it 250

oh man i'd use elminster, horrus, caspar, errich, heks and put elminster on enlight + accuracy; make heks tanky and put her close to horrus; errich on defense down artifact and caspar main dps or other way around, whatever works

but the shields and attack down on boss should be great and heks should be able to heal through and damage with all the shields and debuffs
