He seems good in pvp and maybe trials but not really good in PVE and particularly WB, which is what I care most about, especially since his passive doesn't work there.

You should use max two melees, and have ranged supports tanking (you need special positioning for it). Otherwise your melee DPS just die too quickly

That's how I did it.

Remove Garius and Shagg and put in something like Irina for the attack down and Querion for tanking/healingn then you should be able to do it

i assume season 1, so this was vs auster. you dont really want melee against auster, so schaltar, sutha and shag at an immediate disadvantage unless you have 100% uptime on invincibility... which you wont. you'll also want a cleanse for tank (garius can himself but needs to have good timing) or he gets popped by auster heavy damage ult vs frost. vani, nimbus, tharivol, ivellios are ranged dauntless and the preferred for this type of thing... nathaniel for shields and extra heals or enna for extra heals and cleanse for tank

I had this issue for a hot minute. For me, I worked on the 5/5 psy for attack boost and use a team of fire/poison for synergy. Any one solid tank that keeps the goblins up front and together in defense HP gear. I use Ergander here. Then in the back Sigrid and Dane for MVPs and also Horace and Letalis dressed for attack/crit rate/crit damage and no defense since the tank keeps them all bundled to the front. Can try to do food as well but that never seemed to help me like it did others.

More generically i can give you some ideas… like if you are using dauntless dps, you build gambler lego sets with 100% crit, high attack and crit damage and high attack speed… any other dps you can go platinum knight set and focus skill haste instead of attack speed.

Martina is ok as your tank in goblins

Letalis is a rare poison hero that may help in goblins.

I swapped to him in S1 Thelendor and it made a big difference even unscrolled. His ult is more focused on enemies that do AoE damage to his team, but still good even if they are only damaging him.

well, do the max stage you can, get gear, upgrade it, and then when you have the power, move on to the next stage

you have to go little by little. eventually, you hit a wall, then you need to farm the current highest stage you can, until you get better gear, or better substats and move on. i have no idea if it's your first season, what hero levels, but you need to go little by little. for example, you are farming domains and cannot go past stage 4, then go back to dungeons to farm gear, or go farm goblin to level your heroes to 100, then come back, etc.

for rot you have a couple options...radiance/lightning go sagomir tank, nimbus, shagrol, catherine, quarion. shagrol can be on accuracy setup so when he ults he applies defense down via crown/witch remains... nimbus go brrrrrr. time catherine's ult just before first boss debuff every turn; quarion heals just before boss chomps tank for full heal and defense up. rinse repeat. sagomir is your attack down, time his ult for just after he gets back from the chomp before first aoe on the team.

or you go wild team and burn it down.

errich on accuracy set to land defense down, flora full enlight dps, heksandra, horrus, adolphus. adolphus uses shield just before the boss ult chomp; heks heals after the first aoe. make sure horrus has enough accuracy to consistently land attack down with battle skill; if you are dying to too much damage, replace flora with sigrid with enough accuracy to land debuffs for more attack down uptime.

VENOM: same team i suggested to you above, sigrid instead of flora for more attack down uptime. can put sigrid straight back row from middle main tank so she only targets boss with single target hits. errich right in front of her or off to the side doesnt matter, his ult should hit boss and 1 orb

CURSE: use voresh instead of errich

Hello hello. I’ve been playing for a while and I’m yet to commit to any of the legendaries I’ve pulled. I haven’t scrolled any of them as legendary scrolls are rare and I’m not sure whether it’s worth building a new team around the leggos i have. currently just run frurbath, sigrid, voresh, adolphus, and Megan in most content. Any advice would be helpful.

ivellios, schaltar, shagrol, clovis, quarion/catherine... shagrol holds your defense down artifact and is on accuracy build. all 3 need attack speed; schaltar built high attack and enlight, 0 crit and use ink pot.

it is affinity not single element. season 1 you have fire + poison in a single affinity so you mix them to get a balanced team.

for instance in vortex you could do: frurbath, adolphus, errich, tonalnan, follie. errich, tonal and follie are all on platinum knight sets or tonal can be on gambler; errich is on accuracy chest and accuracy rune, crown of unclean/witch remains artifact... target for errich is 200-250 accuracy and 100% crit; as much attack and cdamage as possible. follie and tonal are on 100% crit, 150+ cdamage and 3500-5000 attack as is possible with your gear... tonal on horseshoe artifact, follie on music box, eyeball or wine cup artifact.

you can go wellby, tathlyn, sagomir, iola, quarion for a radiant team. sag would be tank in this case.

I scrolled him last season specifically because I didn’t have any other Heal Prohibition (got Nessa this season), but he’s just not consistent in keeping heal prohibition if it takes 2-3 cycles to kill the elemental and was having better luck just working on Survival + targeting the main boss with Ults

You are so early game that you have no 5/5 bonuses to get so just get 3-5, bring any dps with that team instead of heks. Preferably with debuffs… but frankly you dont have anyone worth investing in yet so just bring dubok for shields.

But you need an enabler for both usha and trolgar to get more damage from them, preferably ranged. Lossenia lego is the best, followed by rava and dorkruz. Auster the lego can also be used that way even though like usha, he is better build just for damage output not accuracy.

For now can use accuracy on usha and build trolgar damage

Trolgar is more pvp because he is a jumper and he isnt much of a frost enabler since he removes frost to deal more damage. Usha can enabler herself and should be fine early on, plus frost debuffs will help sigrid ult targeting

in epic gear you should have % stats for body and hands

in season 1, epic gear you are using the green shield items x4 pieces for tanking until you have lego ancestral set x3

this is kind of overkill healing that isnt necessary. meggan + adolphus is plenty. and only 1 dps/debuffer means you have no defense down going on and that's bleh. super slowbro runs, no thanks.

even errich on accuracy setup using defense down artifact and positioned in the middle so he targets boss with basic attacks is easy enough there

i used to illustrate how it was done in s1 with f2p team; meggan up top lowest hp high defense; horrus main tank, tonalnan/frurb as second melee next to horrus up front; sigrid straight back from horrus and errich right in front of her

meggan removes defense down instantly, horrus with sufficient defense and banner or scarab survives first round easily enough, second melee up front forces the aoe to stay up front for easier healing; the two dps/debuffers target only boss with their basic attacks in that formation

i think you arent going to be able to do anything well until you have progressed through gear.... you need epic gear to farm lego gear. just a fact. but dont spend too much time on epic gear, just get the main stats you need and then try and push to higher tier dungeons for lego gear

thia, zharloth, adrie, voresh, loris = 4th team (necro damage)
naguk, irina, nathaniel + 2 dauntless (you only have vani, so not yet)
garius, wellby, hegio, catherine/quarion, irina (replace irina with iola if/when you get her) = 6th team (radiance damage)

and your vortex is pitiful with this roster, should be way higher. use the poison damage team i listed above 👌 durango is your main dps here... eli holds your defense down artifact and both eli and dench are high accuracy. eli also needs 100% crit for damage purposes. durango is very stat needy and needs high enlightenment (target is 400), high attack (4000) and 100% crit; as much crit damage as possible after that...

you can run durango on platinum knight set; eli can be in gambler; dench can be in either gambler or three ear set. adolphus can be in platinum knight, frurbath in ancestral protector.

I've built Durango with 400 enlighten. He does less damage every single time than with 50 enlighten and max atk, cr, and CD. If he wants to build him full dmg then he needs to skip enlighten AND acc and build CR > CD > Atk

idk why krakens building him enlighten chest etc but I've done this testing myself and regardless of if he's enabler or main dps, enlight is a wasted stat on him, the modifiers are just too low

Its very simple really. Every attack is aoe. 2 debuffs until it reaches 50% hp then 3 debuffs. You need immunity or cleanse buff

Dont need real tank, do need attack down aoe and preferably shields and healing

Need to have candlestick and incense artifacts leveled

And preferably a unit that has some ability to manipulate ult generation for themselves, team or the dragon

To remove 2 stacks a turn every time

Then it is just a 30 second rotation with 5 second weakness time

Or 25 + 5 i forget it has been a month

1. Can you use normal buff prohibition/dispel moves to deal with the dragon buff?
2. It looks like every instance of ult up/down gets rid of one of the buffs. Do you still gain the benefits of ult up/down, either before or after getting rid of the dragon buffs?
3. Is dragon immune to ult meter slow? Does that also interact with the 4x dragon buff?

well first off you have the dream team more or less IB so you shouldnt be struggling with shinnah + gerthin + bleddyn + garius + rose, that should be an easy button. but obviously if you are only using 70s you going to struggle on flame and tempest

you also have 2/3 of the burn dream team, so i recommend ghul + durem + aeschetius + beags (rare goblin burn) + frurb. that should be very low braincells play also and should be fine destroying ice domain

goblins you can even go burn x3 same ones, sigrid and voresh. aeschetius is more than tanky enough to be your up front and he constantly aoes, so that's going to steamroll goblins. just give him bracelet with no levels on it for artifact

those 2 teams and gob setup should carry you to mid season.

i also dont know why you forcing your entire team to be poison when the only thing that you get a bonus to is the DAMAGE done to the boss

gotta start getting creative with teams; you need 3 the first week, 4 second week, 5 and then 6 by end of the event. you ideally want 22m scores on each one targeted every week to score well in the rankings for event an dwork toward the legendary hero available in the shop (ultior season 1)

then when you reach otherworld, you can do these bosses as many times per day as you want, except each time has to be a unique team.... so most people shoot for 12 total teams.

22m score on one is great, and then second one at least 7m, shoot for 11m

this directly affects your rewards and rankings (more rewards) for the event AND for the server in total, as you approach end of season

lossenia i cant get to 11m with my poison team; just really hard to get ranged poison damage and consistent debuff immunity or cleanse with teh frequency needed with poison/lightning affinity. shainactan sprays out thunderbolt debuff, also becomes problemative for melee specifically... there are some interesting cheese teams that require no legos but i dont have zharloth so that's tough for me specirfically but you may have an easier time there for necro damage. alton is bs, all his attacks are full screen aoe, so you cant hide your squishy dps anywhere... and he is ice damage, so you want to just ice blast burn him as fast as possible and bring voresh to buff block him so he cant get rally himself, which reduces his damage output.... buff block, defense down from voresh and then attack down SOMEHOW and then tank/heals and ice blast. garius can be huge there to save you 1 hero slot. then you have journ, who is annoying with his positioning needs and how he punishes anyone in that aoe....... so you have to use ranged dps, which isnt great because if you dont have philto you basically have garbage units to use.

ok so for arena early game i tend to have people use a jumper + sigrid + debuffer + tank... in your case your jumpers are limited to shagrol. he's not great in pve, so can leave him no xp and just use him in pvp team since he scales up level. sigrid, zharloth, ergander, shagrol, iola.... iola is your debuffer, she needs to be fast and high accuracy, high attack and decent crit% would be nice. zharloth build fast, high accuracy and high attack, decent crit would be nice also. ergander you want high defense and accuracy foremost, then resist, hp and attack after that. sigrid you want decent accuracy to land heal prevention on tanks like garius... but your focus is crit, attack, damage foremost.

vortex team you have some potential for both wild and dauntless........

dauntless: garrett, nimbus, iola, ichiucatl, berrik.... not my fav team only because healing and tanking requires you to have 2 heroes to do the job that garius can do by himself if you had him... so you kind of lose efficiency there and that will affect your damage output. if you did pull garius, replace berrik with him, drop ichiucatl and use vani (rare dauntless) or even shagrol in place of her.

wild: isolde, tonalnan, rhash, errich, heksandra........ i'd want to replace heksandra with adolphus (epic shielder) when you get him. in this team, errich is on an accuracy build and uses crown of the unclean or witch remains artifact to apply defense down. isolde is your attack down and shields, heks is heals, rhash and tonal are your primary damage.

it should be easy in legendary gear to get errich to 200-250 accuracy, 100% crit and maybe 3000 attack, 100 crit damage. tonal you only need the stat sheet to show 80% crit since she gets 20% from her passive. tonal also gets horseshoe artifact for more damage. rhash is huge single target damage, crit 100%, attack, damage.... full attack mode

that's a great wild damage team, survivabliity without adolphus is the only real challenge but eventually you should be good

sure he cleanses the debuffs then heals, but put it like this. garius has 80k hp. sigrid ult does 50k. garius heals 40k with ult. but he also pops heal on hit buff that gives him back like 2000 per hit on him. any unit not dealing more than 2000 to him per hit is healing him net gain. tanks are healing him net 1000 or more, same as healers. so if a basic attack is 1 every 2 seconds and the buff lasts 10 seconds, that is 5 hits for 10,000 hp healed and 5000 loss. net 5k heal over 10 sec. and that is 2 people attacking him.

in my team i have sigrid dps doing like 3k per hit basic. acilia tank doing 700-900 hp. ergander doing 700-900... voresh doing 1000-1200 per basic..... and then lothair doing 2000-3000 per hit. so math that up. 9000~ per 2 seconds damage done from 5 hits, 10,000 healed. net heal +1k every 2 seconds. i'm actually HEALING garius 1k every 2 seconds for 10 seconds, so he ends up +5k just from basic attacks. now prevent that healing. now i've dealt almost 20,000 in those 10 seconds just from basic attacks. and instead of him being at 40k before he ults to full 80k, he's at 20k and ults to 60k. and then i apply another sigrid ult down to 10-20k and heal prevent.... and then my team pokes him to death in 10 seconds.

so yeah it makes a difference, there's the math

not to mention i bring ergander to taunt him and hope that ult goes off as garius ult is almost full to delay that heal

the only time i actually lose battles with garius are when he has very high resist and my sigrid cannot land heal prevent and my voresh doesnt dispel his buff or buff block him or land defense down. in those cases, he outheals me and i lose. very infrequent, maybe 1 in 10 or 15 garius but it 100% is a loss due to lack of debuff on him not because of lack of burst damage. no one is oneshotting a garius 100k damage with a sigrid

Frur + healer can 5min Talwer, add 3x ranged DPS.
Necro isn't too hard either, get Adrie + Questa + Ghul'ende for easy timing lock.

Ice is quite easy, use IB champs and only a little bit of defence

irzillas (fire) can use lyle, beags, durem, horrus, adolphus.... gotta clear the adds fast, so burn > wild
shainactan (necro): ghulende, zharloth, irma, deverick, adrie
lossenia (poison): lul, get ready to die. sigrid, sifris, eli......... naguk? ichiucatl? vomit
journ (light): dont see your ice/radiance heroes
alton (ice): see journ notes 😛

How does accuracy help with buffs on a team? Maybe I need to understand that mechanic better to understand which direction she needs to go gear wise

Like if she had 0 accuracy. Could her battle skill fail to protect the team? I know it would mean her alt likely would fail against enemies, but how about the team buffs?

Frost still wrecks pvp but burn beats frost easily in ST and aoe in pve. The main disadvantage is just there's a lot of options for frost comps and really only 1-2 for burn

Ice blast > wild at ST by a lot

Horseshoe and music box probably are your next two epic artifacts, and grab the bracelet for lothair for goblins (you can leave it at +0 dont need to xp bracelet). You should be using lothair as your melee in goblins not frurb… and get rid of fire MC, slot iola instead for more debuffs.

Have you already used irma and vinyara in a team? Deverick? I see them in your screenshot but you didnt pick them. I would drop joyce from that first team and being irma, give her incense artifact. Gladros can hole candle for you so zharloth can just heal more with proper artifact. Second team is decent, maybe drop trolgar and bring vinyara though? You can build a third team hocha + trolgar + deverick + ultior + ice main char maybe

Fire main character can use horshoe artifact or disc, sigrid can use crown of unclean. Later replace fire main character with eli

If you are still venom 4, just get your heroes to 70. You are wasting your time (and stamina) grinding low level goblins and domains to get heroes to 90. Get better gear so you can farm higher level dungeons
