Guys, I'm on season 1 in 1 month old server and had a lot of luck with my pulls and was able to assemble a rally team with Thelendor (my favorite and strongest hero), Alton, Garius, Tathlyn and Quarion (the last two can be replaced when needed for Irina, Shook or Nessa).

But I'm having some difficulty when I need to clear some content with multiple teams, could you guys help me to assemble another 2 teams with what I have at my pool right now? You don't need to focus on the characters levels, I don't mind taking some time to level them up.

How is turn order determined for my characters if there is a tie for timing of ults? I though it was supposed to break tie with order lineup, but in arena it doesn’t show them in my lineup order

Iirc I was just using tonalnan, fru, Felicity, sifris, and errich. Usually auster would just hit Fru and Tonalnan again and again and only they’d need heals.

You are gonna have a tough time against the Poison elementals with a poison team due to their elemental resistance negating a bunch of your ults. For those battles I wound up needing to sub in some other elements (Ice/Necro for me since that’s what I used to level main team using Flame Domain) in order to have the damage output, you can keep Frur and Heks for the healing, since they aren’t there for damage. You may want to put Frur closer to your DPS (probably 3 on leftmost column with Frur at the bottom/top, one to his side, and Heks with Tank gear next to them so that Frur can heal your entire team at the start and Heks can hopefully hold off the rest until the ones on the left are defeated)

You have to change gear to suit the needs of the content.

Platinum knight generally for slow attacking heroes vs boss or those with big ults… gambler for fast attacking heroes. Three ears set for healers/debuffers, ancestral protection for tanks…

Your lineup seems off when you using a single wild; he needs 1-2 wilds with him to have an actual benefit and kit synergy

I didn't mislead at all. I wouldnt build wild around units other than Tonalnan or Flora and I dont have either personally and am S2 who spends. The person you replied to you made a comment that Errich was essentially useless because he didnt have 1-2 more wilds without even knowing what the person has. Errich is fine for early S1 and goblin as just an AoE'er if you have the gear

that team should be fine then tbh, curse is easy as long as you strip just before ult and attack down. time frurb, adolphus and dane ults for just after he buffs middle of his bar and you should be fine. felicity should keep defense down up basically entire fight with her crits pushing her ult speed

I’m thinking Journ, Isolde, sigrid, Horrus, Heks would be a solid fire/poison comp. Position journ and Isolde so that everyone is adjacent to them.

Obviously Isolde not built yet though, but staggering the attack downs with Sigrid sounds nice. Maybe that means I don’t need horrus?

So couple things, and i will use anecdotal narrative to lead you to water here lol. In season 2 i started from scratch with all the same heroes i had already but level 1 everything right? Since i already played s1… i knew what to expect. I leveled 2 affinity teams only to be as efficient as possible… tank for each, healer for each, shield for each, attack down ii for each, dps for each… i also leveled a goblin team but chose to use same units i had on one of those other teams to make sure i was efficient.

That said, i would never go into vortex with a non 5/5 affinity

Yea last season my team was garius Nathanial nasj tharivol and shagrol but I was still only scraping 25-26 mil most of the season. Probably because that team didn’t have a reliable atk down. The issue is I tried messing with other companies and the dmg got worse.

I was wondering how Zhorak and Seidic pair. I know Seidic isn’t the best epic for ice blast but I also know Zhorak is useless without another ice blast in the team. I just don’t want to invest this early when resources are so scarce. My other thought was just leveling Rava and Drizzt and using garius rava rose drizzt and Voresh. Though that’s not a lot of healing.

Things to try, raise level, raise resistance on all your group. Use a resistance food buff. Maybe use ice mc instead of one of the other poison characters, for the ice shield. Raise up Nathaniel as he's a heal over time and shielder.

As you will see it is not that simple. You will be swapping heroes in and out to progress because of the new buffs the enemy gets each zone.

Garius, rose, voresh are a must for core team

Might want to build lucien and hocha too and be tank heavy… content is rough

Frurb, ichiucatl, stega, sigrid, nathaniel (i know healer heavy but you will see how punishing the incoming damage will be

Can also drop your poison dps heroes and a healer and go with schaltar, sutha, shook, frurbath, ichiucatl/nathaniel

You can try electrucuted but you will be relying on the gnome girl and turrets landing electrocuted with the elf dude being your burst dps

Also, adolphus, isolde, zharloth, 2 burn legos could be pretty sick too for aoe

Pick 2 teams to start with for progression, definitely build that garius team

Utior and Labyrinth of curiosities for now, if nothing else comes up limiting to 1 element per team. And it will be good to have a higher variety of heroes to choose from even for affinity teams.

Lab is mostly just gear, have a tank and a healer and ANY dps. Like dont think too hard on it, just gear them appropriately, play around with positioning, but have a tank and a healer. All of the mobs are statted down. The fire one I did with 4 dps and Adolphus and just watched Tonalnan melt at the last mob usually in each fight.

Utior is a different animal. Look up the comps used for Otherworld bosses - theres like 90 videos and 800 posts about this, search by Otherworld, and the boss specific names.

But like to put in perspective, overall your issue is you have nothing "core" yet. More unlocks are needed and it makes utior hard due to that. However doing the best you can and getting whatever points you can with the tank healer 3dps combo is just fine. Missing utior is not the end of the world, tbh people who were expecting Utior to be good was more the end of the world for people who spent RL $ at him.

But an example of Utior/Otherworld element boss setup

Adrie and Questa screw over Thelendor's ulti energy while Eleuia summons a bunch of skeles to tank some of his ulti hits, and zadok just does dps and also summons skeles.

But like for Bion, you'd have a rough time because your Frost DPS are melee - which you can't/shouldnt use on him cause of his aoe stuns.

Your fire comp should do well though on Auster. Just have a tank and healer up front to draw his ulti. You don't have a dauntless comp to abuse positioning on Errich.

havent read below if anyone else responded but i'd go acilia/garius + iola + lorentheel + martina + wellby. since you dont have wellby yet, go with both tanks and should be fine for progression as it is.

curse.. nathaniel, shook, grover, garius, thelendor. should be easy auto, just give them all 40-50k+ hp and sufficient accuracy on your grover/shook and you'll be easy claps.

rot: same team just drop grover and shook, slot enna and nessa (nessa doesnt need scrolls). time enna cleanse ult after boss applies heal prevention debuff and hopefully nathaniel's cleanse procs before garius heal ult to top everyone else. nathaniel shields and nessa debuffs should keep everyone alive and boss from healing while you dps it down.

HR: irina/shook instead of nessa, drop enna and go with alton and should be super easy. thelendor shreds that boss.

AB.... bit tougher. you cant have any buffs for that boss, so rally/lightning just not going to work for you. shields do work and straight heals work but absolutely no buffs or you die. and you can use 2x strip. grover can work for that, irina works ok also... meredith for heals... but need a tank with no buffs and shielder, nathaniel buffs defense so no go there. going to need to go with mishmash element affinity or something, not viable with rad/lightning alone with these units

Not a lot of good healers for fire/necro unless you whale for Torrin on a banner. If you run Adolphus (fire shielder) Zhar'loth might work and would give a damage bonus.

With a low spending account, I managed to get an amazing S2 start by pulling Beldelle/Shinnah Perkunte/Shai'nachtan and Karf (rate was 17 dice/Lego), which doubled my Legos.
On Day 6, I wasn't patient enough in waiting for the Ardreth event and drew 7 dice.
Draw 4 was Aschetius and 7 was Rose.
Due to Perkunte and Beldelle, I focused on Ice and Light and couldn't test Aschetius + Karf.
Can't wait to use them.

The difference in s1 and s2 tempest domain is that boss lands electrocute and deals bonus damage over time with it up, so be careful.

Or ditch melee completely and go dorkruz + rowena ranged and just keep a tank up front

First off you dont need eurion and garius, as only garius is healing. Garius + frurbath is better imo, garius main tank. Frurb offheals for him.

Tanks wise if thats all your tanks, Clovis is prolly your best bet for bossses due to the attack down. Loris is next closest in style. TBH Clovis might be your best bet for now.

Duling is the best defense as in soak damage tank outta ice/rad epics. Berrick is kinda bad tbh.

Elvis is NOT bad, but hes gonna mess with any rotations due to his passive if that is important to you. TBH hes stronger in pvp than pve.

Zhar you build with skill haste and attack for heals
Adrie is Brotherhood set, Incense, accuracy
Questa is dps, crown/witch, accuracy
Zadok pure DPS
Eleuia all attack speed
Basically adrie and questa screw over Thelendor's ulti energy while Eleuia summons a bunch of skeles to tank some of his ulti hits, and zadok just does dps and also summons skeles.

I think yoru errich team should be fine, errich was also an easy 22m team. Just a matter of positioning - If this doesnt work, add in a healer, throw healer and tank top right, and move Sutha back like 2 squares and down, the other two in back corners. That way Errich only targets the healer and tank with battle skills, and sutha with a lucky fireball on and off.

Jalthea looks good, Sagomir and Acilia should draw her ulti just fine

Ripe I had better luck with heks over vicuc but vicuc works. If thats enough damage, tbh, unless you can 22m auster with that group, Id throw fru in here.

Mostly Id test the auster comp first and see if you can 22m him or not.

So Shin is the most important of the two support ice blasts, so youre on the right track. Mostly you need Gerty to make ice blast with Shin and Bled work, as Gerty is the DPS of the 3 epics. Seidic is really, really bad.

(I main Ice Blast and have tested... almost everything at length. Only thing I dont have is Bel's arti)

And tbh I got nord to deal better damage than Siedic on some tests, as Nord is 420 vs Siedic's 240 which only kinda scales up and doesnt honestly meet Nord's damage.

So are all of your ice blast toons skill leveled, is my first question right now?

And yea tank/healer wise Isolde/Adolphus might be better

All this said you're still at 3 affinity level unlocks - you could just run ice blast as dps with 3 affinity and just run whatever tank/healer combo you want anyways, esp if its out of your second team's comp.

DPS out of what you listed youd likely do best with Usha Drizzt Rava and rava with crown. Also really, really comes down to if everyone is skilled up too.

Both dungeons you really need to deal with the mechanics of first. 3k defense is the gate on your tank though for venom, and 3pc ancestral for the damage reduction is really important.

Kinda best team for him you have is shink/corrin/Lothair, however Felicity/errich and nedda or thea might do better. Lothair combo is mostly about lots of poison stacks, Corrin is one of the key characters if you have hourglass to put on him.

Fru and Adolphos combo is prolly your best support combo for either team right now for you.

Rad lit pillar:
nothing super, but Nathaniel, Irina, Quarion, clovis, shook or lit MC is about the best you have going right now. You can sub out Nathaniel for Lit MC or Shook and run 3 full DPS if quarion is doing enough.

Necro/Ice pillar:
Zhar, Voresh, Rava, Usha, and make Hochadir "Tank"

Mostly just keep playing and rolling dice!

Tonalnan would setup your Wild team, Lothair is tricky to setup for high ranks but corrin and shink can work, shink will get subbed out for durango or twitch later, corrin with Hourglass is a staple.

Ice/Necro is rough s1, cause of the lack of supports. Some other frost unlocks would help in the epic range, and the necro boss combo only gets so far in trials (I tried, really hard s1. Got stuck on 60).

Lit/Rad is mostly about Lorentheel for Rally, or Tathlyn for rally. Dauntless is usually easier to build, you have the staple epic - Schaltar (Schalty) but you need more Dauntless epics or legendaries for it to work well, Shagrol (Shaggy), Nimbus, or any of the Legendaries would be solid. In a pinch, single target wise, Yagnatz and Haug can work but theyre not as effective as Shagrol or Nimbus.

Depends on your next unlocks. If youre really into Lothair, especially if you get durango or twitch then yes get hourglass. If you're really into wild, and get tonalanan, then witches.

Both are universally useful, hourglass barely edging out witch for all content because you can make a healer faster, etc. But Witch is useful in all comps everywhere, but its hourglass that unlocks permanent poison stacks with corrin.

Lightning : Natjenska, Tharivol, Iola, Ihuactl, Nathaniel, You need 1 tank.. Dunno who.. Or u can test w/ Natjenska as tank (since she'll take basic attacks only and Errich battle skill and ult are all aoe)

Frost : Solo Tank Elvis, 4 Backline - Rava, Voresh (before boss ulti), Hvitar, Dorkuraz.. Use Estella if u need heals and just do test on who's better to have between Hvitar and Dorkuraz

Poison : Frurbath, Sigrid, Twitch, Heksandra, Eli.. just make sure ripekas hits frurbath and Hek

Necro : You're gonna have a hard time w/ this since Thelendor will own ur melee hero w/ his battle skill.. his ulti can be countered with lots of summons tho.. maybe.. Megan, Zharloth, Zadok, dunno if that shield guy is Loris/Edgar but make him ur tank.. Then see if u need more heal (Estella) or damage (Ishitarian, Joyce) that's as much as i can think of w/ what's available

Radiance : u need someone w/ atk penalty / def up / heal and make sure it hits ur tank and healer.. Philto, Wellby, That beard papa guy, Quarion, then get Irina from Lightning for atk penalty

Hourglass is good if you have top tier disruptor / control (i.e. Tamar, Garrika, Elecebre)

We have the same lineup and im using staffGar w/ Felosia and i cant say it stacks.. perhaps it does cause it increases when staffGar uses ulti.. my team can last up to T250 w/ Felosia and StaffGar on V3 right now

Phaesa, in my experience is a game changer for me! Especially in arena, I can't even pull her out of my team.. Haven't leveled Phaesa currently, but i used her when Clep Torrent reset was still up to finish Venom8 back then

For lightning you actually want Frurbath instead of Kamari as your tank. The rest of the team is ivellios, thirivol, sutha, Nathanial. That should work ok.

Dont keep using noteera. Reset her immediately and do not waste the scrolls. Since you are on day like… 2 or 3, affinity doesnt matter yet. Soon you will be replacing heroes on that team you were using with ones within an affinity. Gareth is the only one on the team with an attack down debuff currently. If you pull sigrid you can swap him out for horrus. Go read my guide as suggested

And scrolling down i see you did get sigrid so the horrus swap in was fine. And since voresh available yes swap out rava. Your next target is usha to summon or use rare selector on… usha will be excellent with rava on a frost team

i kinda like karf + lyle + one of the rare burn users as opposed to araces; araces removes burn stacks to deal extra damage, and i'm not a huge fan of that mechanic. the damage has to be really worth it to remove the debuff that is the basis for a whole damage mechanic... like trolgar removing frost stacks on his ult, similar

irma, gladros and deverick also excellent units. i can see 3 possible teams here. wild with irma tank and meggan heals (tonalfan is melee so irma helps keep her alive); the burn team i described above or you can go summoner team with zadok, edgar, tioh/joyce, deverick, thia

On paper she’s less good than garius and might only be a “I already used garius in this event” replacement for garius. Acilia pairs with garius just fine so I’d expect Ardeth to.

Been trying to figure out if a frost team would be good in tier 3 goblin raid, not sure if it's due to team comp I picked or frost being underwhelming for it apposed to something like wild.

Rowena - dps
Rave - inflict frost to boost rowena's aoe damage
Hochadir - 30% attack up for all frost

Thought hichadir might be good for goblin due to the attack up but his aoe only really hits 1 goblin due to Drizzt

How strong are S2 exclusive heroes?

Bel = Amazing single target, like SS level. Shin makes a huuuge difference in damage, Zhorak is replaceable with Bleddyn, but really Bel or Gerty combo'ed with Zhorak or Shin and Bled works great. Not good in pvp but a few people try.
Aschetius = Not bad single target, good in pvp (A/B Rating), SS in general pve. Needs Karf.
Perkunte = kinda bad single target, good in pvp but the burn teams are better. S/SS in general pve. Needs Shai and right now people hate nissa and prefer manda.

So basically theyre all broken but its different uses and requires enablers. Solo without enablers theyre just okay.

Still looking for info how to beat Queen Sivesta in Meteor Field. I tried AoE dps to burn the adds but can’t kill them fast enough. My best run was a straight line by her and just dumping on her but still only got her to 60% before her damage modifier nuked my team (like 5-6 minutes in the fight)

Gerty Manticore. Shin has the most capability to do damage of the two, but Bled the easiest to hit crit 100%. Personally Id likely run Crown/Witch on Shin until I can get 80% crit on Bled without Music box, then put Crown/Witch on Bled, and move Shin into dps mode. Then I would likely change my mind so I can abuse crit damage easier, and put Crown/witch back on Shin. So really, either way your call, but Manticore goes on Gerty cause shes a better DPS than either of them.

Adolphus works but can screw up skill timed dungeons. Sifris will make it further in vortex 4 than Adolphus typically. They work for all content - you can Errich witch/crown, then Tonalnan at people. Otherwise they tend to just chew through content.

Manual Crown/witch from errich with ulti, then manual tonalnan at the same target, tonalnan kills them. Its how I whittled down groups through fey/trials last season, pick the target you want dead first. Put felicity on manual where necessary to make sure it dies.

I used Garrika, Sigrid, Heksandra, Ergander and Frurbath on her during S1.. Maybe you can swap Horrus for Ergander and test Fire MC or Errich for Frurbath if ur short on DMG.. but if ur short on heal, Adolphus, to compensate heal w/ shield?

General rule is that tanks and dps need stats more than healers, go for Horrus is your struggling with keeping him alive, else Sigrid to deal more damage, but dont overthink it 😁

there is a difference tho.. vicana goes first and twitch + durango after, for it to trigger the mark

while jathalea needs to go after twitch, then durango, cause she will clean up the stacks

burst wise it would be jathalea that deals more dmg.. i used vicana on continental challenge and otherworld exploration, she functions well w/ rare epic poisoners as based on my exp, u just need to poison the enemy as long as they have the mark

u got strong foundation on radiance, this is just a presumption but id rad is the element u have most hitters, making 2 teams that can hit 22m is better than another team that hits 11m

i was able to make do w/ 2 teams before bec its easy to make them hit 22m and the mechanics for jathalea is easy to counter

team 1: loreentheel, garius, catherine, tathlyn, thelendor

team 2: hegio, alton, iola, quarion, kamari

just imagiing ur heroes, makes it alr easy to think of 2 teams that can hit 22m.. this is in the assumption u alr have access on legendary gears from dungeon-9s

also, its bec u can only use heroes 1 for a week, but can hit the boss as long as u have challenges

i dont think u need a 2nd team, if ur that stacked on rad-lightning, for sure ur other elements are strong too.. focus on getting 22m.. if ur acilia can tank and survive jathalea, u will easily reach 22m w/ lorentheel, philto, huberd, thelendor.. in this set u need to have thelendor survive to tho, which might be hard..
