she is nice, she can be used to double cheese some bosses along with questa. you pop both their ults same time to lower ult gauge (example thelendor boss in chief challenges and otherworld); he gets rally, you lower his ult gauge with both of them.. he uses his ult without rally so you save several hits worth of damage

i would say the eurion, meggan, usha, voresh + frost enabler team is your best bet; you are just missing that rava/dorkruz. you can even slot rowena and run usha as your enabler

Honestly for Vortex I would do Furbach as main healer, try to buff his defence as much as possible and give him healer artifacts. Then just go full dauntless for DPS. Shagrol, Thar, Schaltar and a support of your choice.

Make sure you slap the crown of the unclean or witch's remains on one of them for that crucial def down debuff

From what i hear ice blast is new single target beast damage, while dauntless or wild was last season; lightning bolt is in the middle and burn is best aoe in s2. So if you running vortex with schaltar you can go dauntless and still do well. Especially with frurb and iola as Gull suggested. Id rather see vicuc or nathaniel for cleanse in vortex 4 later on but early season heks should be fine

Or ya 3 dauntless for damage and who cares about heals

Furbach in my experience can carry me for heals well enough in vortex since the field is so small, up until when the boss is doing silly damage anyways. Like 180 stacks

Though I haven't played around with putting another healer on the team and seeing how that balances the survivability vs dps of the team

or. garius, irina, schaltar, nimbus, enna. only reason enna is there is for tier IV which needs a cleanse since you have no shields. for III and lower you can drop enna and go with another dps or debuffer. like nessa. dont need to scroll her, just let her debuff for you and use crown/witch's

use drizzt as a frost applier / dps and usha full dps

meggan is 3 ears, ghul is 3 ears, ghul should cast at 21.5, to dispel debuff and att down next 2 skills, meggan should cast at 10.5 with felosia right before lightning strike

i think your issue here is you got stats all jacked up on these units... first off, gambler is only really good against bosses... trash against player characters that have low HP. you want platinum knight or executioner for arena. ghulende can deal massive damage with ult as well; you need to gear ghul accuracy, speed and also crit, attack, damage. those stats on ghul make me cringe 😦 zharloth should be on attack speed, yes, but again... where is the crit%? if anything, put zharloth on the 3 piece three ear set to buff ghul and voresh damage since they are full screen attacks. furthermore, voresh needs to be so much faster than +20 haste. ideally they should be going first of any of your units. +50 minimum haste to get voresh ult under 11 seconds is a must must. defense down from artifact needs to be on before the damage. ripelkas on executioner set is fine... but where are the damage stats? attack based unit, under 4000 attack and 100 crit damage is very lame duck in arena. should be 100% crit, 4000+ attack and 150-200 damage if they are your main dps... also, ripelkas debuffs are huge, accuracy also needs to be in the 250 range (200+affinity bonus of 50 is fine)... that means really good rolls on gear subs to achieve those stats. eurion stats look ok, but his ult looks real slow with 0 skill haste. work on better runes for him.

i think your setup isnt about the units you are using but how you are gearing them. i could kill you with a voresh/sigrid/jumper team easily

personally i'd finish all the first 4 tiers completely and then work on one affinity each maxed out. by 2 weeks toward end of season, you should have the thing full regardless. but those early ones are super fast to max out, so why not. every bit helps in arena for sure. you also get way bigger rewards the further into the season you go, so the bigger cost affinity stuff will go faster for you. i'd finish the early ones though

ergander with candle can essentially carry you for stacks because of his ult down on battle skill. plus his attack down will be 100% uptime due to constant aoe from the different dragon bits. build him faster with high accuracy on holy protector set to soak damage for your team, but also give him damage so he can bump your score with his ult. but like boom said, dubok on incense or even tiara if ergander is able to manage stacks by himself, then just need heals and 2 dps. sigrid, twitch and heks should work well there

and also like boom asked: where are your fire units? people get so confused with "poison team" they forget fire is part of affinity... isolde + adolphus + ergander + twitch + sigrid could prob be sufficient to score well and last full 8 min

green is poison/fire team; red is wild team (replace fire MC with tonalfan when you get her); yellow is dauntless team; blue is ice/necro summoner damage. you dont have a good frost enabler for usha yet so dont bother really. purple heroes are those you should work on. starred team is your goblin team... just make usha tanky and give her bracelet for self healing and she'll be your melee to attract goblins to him so your ranged can aoe him down. eventually replace letalis or dench with voresh when you pull them. you can also make a meh rally team with garius, martina, tathlyn, irina, nathaniel/wellby. and ice/necro team you can also replace dallbam with ice main character for shields and use ripelkas main tank if you want

for curse just run the dauntless team but instead of thurnus run grover and you should be set.

up to you; if ultior event isnt out yet your choice is to spend liberally and hope to get a lego or epic you need or hoard them and hope you can get ultior by dumping on that banner when it comes out and pushing all the other content... but that's a catch 22: no legos, no epics now and you are unlikely to be hitting 22m damage on the chiefs and scoring high in vortex anyway........ if you are f2p, probably not worth just hoarding dice for some later banner, as improving your account earlier is going to give you better ability to rank higher throughout the season as opposed to at the very end of season when it doesnt matter anymore

Hello fam I have been playing for the last couple of days and recently yesterday I start to pay more attention to the heroes that I have and which ones should I use for every specific situation. But I don't know if you can guide me a little bit with what should I do, who should I train, who should I focus on. I suppose that there has to be a different lineup for every kind of situation that I have to face.

One of the first things that I did is to look for tier lists on the internet but I don't seem to find one that I can say is 100% trustworthy. The one that I'm following is from Hell Hades, but I don't even know if they actually have it right or if they're just throwing numbers. Because you know that you have the possibility to see the ratings of the different heroes in the game but then I see common heroes getting 4 on rating and that confuses me.

The rating there is an average across all events/dungeons so kind of misleading. Also, I don’t agree with some of the ratings. Havnt found a 100% trustable listing but there is fairly good general consensus on top tier rares and epics. After them, I’m just choosing to get through the content I’m stuck on

You will need a full fire and a full poison team to get through curiosities. Plus you need 3 teams to get through story

lightning damage i think is errich? = yellow team. you have to make nastjenka tanky enough to survive the battle skill and ult damage by timing ichiucatl defense bonus. you could play around with nathaniel for shields or quarion for defense buff + secondary heals and replace ichiucatl if you need to.

necro damage = thelendor = purple team. i'd like to run a summoner team here to minimize damage to your units by having more of them on the field at a time for thelendor's ult... zadok + premtsa i think would be better than scharlach and premtsa but you dont have him. try this and if it doesnt work for you, go dps voresh and use adrie to and slow boss ult down when he has rally. ideally you'd use gladros (dont have him) + questa + adrie + healer + tank here.

ice = bionphray = blue team. i hate bionphray but you have vinyara and elcebre, so you might be able to resist all the stun control garbage. with irma up front protecting usha you should be decent damage here with those supports.

auster = fire damage = red team. dubok for shields since you dont have adolphus or isolde; gareth can handle attack down II, heks heals and cleanse of the frost debuff. the trick here will be to get auster to target just garrett or garrett + dubok... so give dubok a TON of hp and defense and put him within range of the aoe so that rhash, errich and heks can stay safely out of range. errich you can run accuracy with platinum knight set and witch's remains/crown and be your defense down for rhash to be your main damage.

ripelkas = poison damage = green team. vicuc times ult to cleanse boss debuffs so tank can heal... it will be tricky positioning the team so only the tank takes boss aoe debuffs when you have 4 ranged and only 1 tank that isnt frurb or ergander... i dont see this team being particularly successful. if you have a hard time, drop eli and go shink, build him accuracy and super tanky, he holds crown/witch's for you.

orange team = jalathea = light damage... acilia and martina will be taking the aoe but hopefully acilia cleanse is sufficient to keep the poison off for ult damage. nathaniel shields, irina defense down, wellby second dps.

i think for vortex use either the wild team i gave you or stick with your dauntless team since you have iola debuffing and acilia for heal/cleanse and nathaniel/ichiucatl for shields and defense buffs and second set of heals. without frurb, adolphus and/or isolde you are going to struggle with wild team

cold team is also huge potential but i think struggles in vortex compared to dauntless. but if you have a cold damage weekly bonus for vortex, try it 😄 irma is pretty awesome tank for that since whole team is clustered together anyway.

gotta be careful, the chiefs dont seem like much of a big deal but it is the first boss challenges you see and not the last. otherworld will be out in 2-3 weeks for you, followed by the chaos dragon endgame boss. the otherworld bosses can be challenged as many times a day as you like/can with different units each time very similar to the chief bosses that are limited 3/week... the big whale players would be 12 teams to do 22m damage each in order to score huge points toward their rankings. you have 5-6 solid rosters, 1 of each... shoot for minimum 7m points each (11m or 22m preferred...) in order to maximize the opportunity. chiefs are a test - if you can score 22m on them with 1 team each week, you can do well in otherworld. endgame dragon you get 6 teams to score as many points as possible but with weird mechanics of ult charging/reduction you have to observe, debuffs and only aoe damage (so tanks are pretty worthless)... it will test you and also determine your rank in the season.

so i dont see where lorarii fits in there except if you drop dubok because you dont need the shields

then lorarii adds more ppoison stacks which helps damage

Problem is stuff that clears goblin doesnt rank high in vortex.

I'd suggest rad/ice but you don't have garius and hes pretty key to success. Tbolt might work okay in goblin, and you have a decent dauntless team, along with having fru and sifris.

But you also have Flora and just running Flora, Tonalnan, and Errich is gonna massively outdamage a lot of other comps, even with your supports out of affinity.

You have a lot of quality DPS components but are missing the support for them really.

But your best not sigrid goblin comp is ice with Auster, Dork, Rava, Drizzt, Voresh. Issue is while they work for general pve, they're not gonna be as good as your Ice Blast or Wild options for vortex, AND youd have a really hard time running Ice Blast without Garius. You could try it with Fru + whoever for heals though (likely Quarion).

Dungeon mechanics are slightly different, for example on Venom, the boss takes more tiles now

Which means 2 things - 1) first the fight is more tank heavy until the front wisps are killed and 2) after they are killed, your melees will move out of ranged units range

This is my method on this:

Say you can have 1 of the 3

Voresh shuts off buffs in Curse and AB, does decent damage, a bit of healing, and is a reliable crown/witch engine

Garius tanks and heals

Fru tanks, heals, and applies attack down

Voresh's buff shut off ability is NOT replicable by any other character in the game. 3x chance. At enough accuracy, it negates the 3% chance of failure. Furthermore, 3x chance for crown/witch to hit too.

Theres like eleventy other healers and tanks and youre gonna run a healer and a tank anyways in content.

S1, S2 content is all doable with diff tanks and healers than Fru and Garius. They are both "win more" characters.

Voresh on the other hand makes bosses easiser and more reliable to negate their mechanics.

with decent gear that carries you through probably silverr lion I in both arenas

on attack you set up: sigrid, voresh, horrus, rowena, hvitar.

you make voresh the fastest with high accuracy. sigrid and hvitar roughly the same speed next and high attack, 100% crit and as much damage as you can. maybe 100 accuracy on sigrid is good to have also. and then rowena goes last and make her pure damage.

horrus full defense and hp and like 30 haste would be great

on scarab artifact. the others you want damage for 3 dps and wtich remains/crown of unclean for voresh...

you have to understand how hvitar works

so her passive is this snowstorm effect... and any unit on enemy team that drops down to 15% hp automatically dies.

plus her ult is full screen targeting

she's super OP strong. but she ideally has frost applied to the opponent first. however. if you have a single tank up front (and i like horrus for this because his ult is like 5 seconds and can taunt people to keep them controlled... otherwise i'd go hocha)... her battle skill can land frost in a conal effect through center of the field within 5 seconds. followed by her ult 7-8 seconds later.

voresh going before her is going to land debuffs for sigrid and pressure damage on the enemy a little... sigrid and hvitar ult at similar times means a ton of punishing damage instantly. any target in the entire area that hasnt died anyway will have likeely dropped to 15% hp, instantly dying also... and rowena is there to drop an extra bomb on whoever did not die. plus it will give hvitar extra affinity bonus with voresh. so either adolphus, fire main character or rowena in that last slot works nicely. all 3 are ranged so are safely behind the tank. just position hvitar center back row with voresh and sigrid at either corner and whatever other unit you choose for that 5th slot in front of one of them

Obviously you are like 1 day in so not a lot to work with. That said you can click the star/favorite button on the following heroes: main character, horrus, heksandra, dench, letalis… iola, usha, thia, fritz, quarion, merideth.

The first 5 i listed is a team that you will use for the next few days til you get your rare selector. By then if you have not pulled sigrid, use selector on her and replace dench. When you pull eli, replace letalis with him and you have a great progression team

blue team is an awesome frost damage team

yellow is dauntless team, can also work in vortex nicely.

orange is just a group of units to build over time that will help you build out more teams later as you will find you need.

but you can also replace follie with sigrid and rhash with eli, keep frurb, sifris and dubok

that gives you a more rounded team

If thelendor ults you basically win. He needs to survive. Alternately drop acilia and run huberg and thelendor fast and on stun sets and lorentheel faster still. That is on bs team there. People thinking it is a dps heavy team but then they dont get to move.

Mostly post your unlocks by affinity, and we can make suggestions. Vortex is rough if you dont have a good single target comp though.

There are mechanics and tips and tricks to each boss. Just gotta play against them.

Voresh by far. Will let you pass the bosses in curse and AB, and you already have Fru.

You should be able to do venom 9 without Voresh. Fru, Quarion, Rava, Auster, and (Heks or Meggan or Zhar).

Heretical you should be able to do with the same squad above, just take a healer out and put in another dps of choice (Drizzt, whoever)

Rot you just need fitz, stew did a good video series on this.

Garius is amazing but really comes into importance in S2 or if you have a solid Dauntless team (you don't).

I wish you had multiple chests. Others to look for:

Tonalnan vortex, as you could run errich, tonalnan, and follie.
Sifris for Poison healer for Vortex with the wilds and fru
Garius (of course)
Schaltar (Dauntless)

Really it looks like youre doing well with who you chose to level, you just really need some more core epics.

Towards s2 in a week...hard call. Thing is, Garius will be your main tank, and if you have staff (Legendary arti) its super easy mode for the game. But Voresh is really core for beating bosses easy, otherwise you're stuck with an unreliable block option from Fire (Liko) or Lit (Grover)

Id prolly still go for Voresh and hope I to hell I get Garius and just suffer with a lesser tank for s2. Id rather kill bosses than have the perfect tank for my comp.

You want to rotate Fru+Ice MC before the ulti first round to absorb the damage, and second round with enna to cleanse the burn stacks before the boss ulti, then back to Fru+Ice MC, rinse and repeat. Play on manual. You can bring Heks (or another healer) and a DPS. It'll be slow but it will work.

Best youve got going right now is Sigrid, Nathaniel, Heks or Sifris, Irina, and shove whoever you want for tank up front (likely Horrus).

Like for real if you never spent any money on the game go see if theres a newer s1 server that just opened. You basically missed all the rewards of s1.

Honestly you're going to acquire a lot more soon, the units you have worth investing long term are Heksandra, the main character (use fire for now), and Shook

Use Livia until you get a better tank and probably Noteera until you get a better tank and support
