Tamar fantastic debuffer, sagomir excellent debuffer and offtank utility and good in pvp to target highest attack enemy

Lol definitely not. Read the guide for sure. I would focus on adolphus, oggok, sigrid, horrus, eli for general progression. Worry about other teams later.

If you struggling with Fey boss, use this dude, set him as Captain for his resistance ability. Plushe reduces accuracy. Thank me later. Just cleared lvl5 and 10 after being stuck for weeks there 😚

for ripelkas i see what you are trying to do for the targeting of boss ult using 2 melee; i did similar with 2 tanks up front... just remember you can always just do full gear swaps based on presets. make a ripelkas preset and just slot a melee or healer near your frurb or horrus and then move the other's tank gear over to that unit. save the preset. then in auster team just put the gear back on the frurb/horrus you are going to use for him and save that preset. full gear swaps jumping between bosses each day, no need to worry about that... just pick a tanky unit to use 🙂 garian for example would be fine in place of frurb or horrus.

also remember you dont need full teams of the element that gets the bonus damage on a particular boss... just bring 2-3 dps units of the bonus damage element and build your 5/5 affinity team using what you need for tank/healer from either element

attack down, defense down, tank, healer, cleanse, shields, damage. just meet that criteria for every boss more or less and pay very close attention to positioning... for instance auster you need cleanse of his frost debuff and need to be careful of any melee near the tank(s)... he will oneshot them quickly as his damage bonus snowballs... and on errich, need to bait him into using his battle skill and ult on a tank + tanky healer or 2 tanks... he does not debuff so dont need to worry about cleanse there. plan accordingly

you lack a good radiance/lightning tank so cant really build a team there... though you have the rest of what you need to be successful for that affinity. irina (debuffs and dps), catherine (heals, debuff immunity), quarion (heals, defense buff), enna (heals, cleanse), tathlyn, martina... you could level berrick but he falls off immediately as soon as you pull volthug, garius or one of the legendary radiance tanks. you could go ice/dark team with edgar (necro) tank + ice main character + drizzt... but you lack meggan for heals and someone who can attack down/defense down

first week or two you need 1 team, balanced as much as you can and affinity doesnt matter much... after that you need 2 teams, one to kill the domain the other cant so you can continue to progress. and by the time you are 70+ and doing goblin tier 2 dungeon you need a dedicated goblin team for efficiency

by week 3/4 you should be farming legendary gear if you've been playing smart and pulled sufficient units to make it happen

newb arena strat is easily voresh, sigrid, horrus (because super fast ult that can screw tanks/melee over with taunt within 5 seconds) + any jumper or two of them. shagrol, caraman, questa are easy enough access as epics to do the job; pick 2, ruin someone's dreams

drizzt is fine for pvp, but dont need him in that team. of course you could put him in there as an option instead of 1 of the jumpers in the team i described. he needs to be built speed and crit% and high attack, as his role is to ult quickly and potentially land frosts for sigrid + deal damage enough to guarantee sigrid's ult will kill. plus since his ult is a diamond it can reach the back row where usually there are a lot of healers or ranged dps hiding.

you are just a few days into server, dont worry so much about arena.... you have no gear and no levels

My successes on pillar were split between heavy dps vs stun set aoe cheesing. For instance for poison/fire i would use a sigrid team with frurbath, adolphus, vicuc/heksandra and ergander to wipe waves quickly during non boss rounds… for bosses i would go more balanced team and use wild much like vortex runs…

Voresh, zharloth, ghulende, irma, deverick/thia and just let irma eat all the damage… stun sets on everyone else lol.

I need some help on how to spend stamina/develop teams. Do you focus on getting everything together for one hero build? Do you do a little bit of everything? I feel like I've hit a wall and don't see myself getting past it anytime soon.

Doesnt matter if you are f2p or a whale, you build the best units you have an observe affinity and hero team synergies to be effective

by the end of the season this is what it looks like

the 5/5 bonuses probably not available to you at child of chaos with 4 weeks left to season

so you need at least 3/5

sagomir is my debuffer there, can easily use irina or iola instead

orange is your arena defense team... horrus has a fast ult and taunts aoe so build him high defense and accuracy, as much hp and resist as you can after that. scarab artifact.

questa and shagrol are jumpers, you build them high crit$, crit damage and attack. skill haste, attack speed. their job is to jump on the low hp unit on enemy team (most of the time their dps... you kill their dps, you win. voresh you build speed/accuracy; sigrid you build a little slower than voresh on crit%, accuracy and damage/attack as much as you can. eyeball artifact, platinum knight set eventually

we'll get to team arena. first focus on progression, you are too newbie for team arena to matter

also, save all your arena currency. you need 50,000 before end of season. dont spend any of it

your goal is to get 50,000 currency then push to silver lion I rank, buy the legendary artifact and then just farm currency and buy master scrolls, etc.

green team is your goblin team. you'll never have ot change it. just build shink tanky and give him bracelet artifact for self healing

dark blue/purple team is your dauntless team. can use that for general progression through pretty much all of game as long as you dont need AOE damage

blue team is your ice/necro balanced team... again, can use through all content basically for progression. going to be lots of AOE there for you for damage too

red team is your balanced poison/fire team, again... for all progression content. good mix of aoe, buffs and debuffs

light purple team is your alternate necro/ice team; there will be a point where you need 6 teams at the end of the game, so keep these in mind as you progress.

your vortex damage is going to be bad at this low level with no lego gear, and you lack a wild team. you can try the dauntless team for one, that one isnt bad. usha, rowena, ripelkas, meggan, voresh or drop rowena and plus in ice main character for shields, could also work... poison team you could try frurbath, sigrid, eli (on crown artifact), heksandra, dubok. probably going to be bad but might be decent early on. can also try dench or shink in place of sigrid but you'll lose attack down uptime.

that should give you enough to work on for 6 weeks, enjoy lol

first off, this should be your general team setup. red for progression (use fire main char obviously), green for goblins.

yellow to clear flame domain; red to clear tempest/ice domains. blue heroes you will want to build over time. when you get meggan, you can use her for heals on your dark/ice team.

decent team for flame domain could also be: irma, joyce, gadros, enna, voresh. you'll only have 3/5 affinity cold/necro but doesnt matter that low level. the yellow team more balanced though.

that should be good for flame domain easily; the yellow team can also pretty much do same. enna is the cleanser there so she just uses her ult before boss ult and done

pick red + one of the other two for now and then worry about third team later on

you could even replace joyce or tioh with voresh because voresh also offheals a little which is nice

so couple things here... 1: you dont need pure tank in dragon, all its hits are aoe. i know eurion does offer really nice protection but you could probably ditch him for meggan or zharloth. meggan can hold candlestick for you, which helps with boss stacks. that allows you to let felosia hold incense and your dps just full damage

also, if you using rava/voresh/usha i see why you had eurion in there... you need his attack down.

just remember it only lasts 5 seconds and has a 10s recharge (-2 for scrolls)... you could maybe run eurion over one of the 3 dps. meggan can run book for more heals, eurion runs protection set + candlestick; felosia on incense. rava on witch remains, drizzt or usha on damage arti

or let usha/drizzt hold incense and felosia tiara for more shields.

the only think you missing though is cleanse. if you had ghulende i'd suggest them over meggan

other option is not to run drizzt or usha at all, run another ranged attacker/debuffer like gadros or deverick... then run thia instead of meggan for debuff immunity and offheals. she can hold your incense and her ult will zoomzoom

i found the heal prevent of sigrid is fine and with durango using on an accuracy/dps setup and journ on witch remains + oggok healing, you should be able to to have good poison stacks, defense down, attack down and dps. forget about the adds on her, they are too thicc... just nuke boss and time the debuff to prevent the heals. you do want to kill the little poison bomb dudes though they hurt back row. move sigrid right up next to frurb and position a tanky oggok in back so he takes the aggro from the adds. journ and sigrid in the middle so they dont die

I don’t recommend 2 tanks. 1 tank, 1 heal, 1 support +Voresh(or anyone who can give debuff for the whole board and Sigrid for the dmg).

I was not able to get much ground in venom 5 using Frur as tank. I can get him to survive first ult, but then one of the AOE tears everyone up. So I'm not sure what's going on there. I know artifacts play a big role

You need a tank with some survivability skill. Garius is the best because of the heal/hit so he basically heals more when the orbs hitting him. Horrus can be I think good too if you use his ulti before the harpy ulti.
Fru is kinda a dead end here because he can’t survive if the orbs hit him.

unfortunately you dont have much in terms of balanced distribution of units across elements. you have sigrid and usha, great; frurb and eurion go well with them. but you are limited to really heks and meggan for heals on either team. your usha has no frost enablers like rava or dorkruz. you do have isolde for shields and attack down uptime, as well as dubok the rare orc mage who shields your team... so alternatives to adolphus are there at least. but no real fire damage team. i'd say voresh IS a good pick for you in that should you pull rava you instantly have voresh, rava, usha, meggan, eurion team which is perfect for endgame.

but you also have voresh + sigrid + eurion/horrus in arena...

garius would be great to have but again... for s1 you only have nimbus and shagrol dauntless and no good rally team. no iola. no nathaniel or ichiucatl... basically you'd be using garius with no one. you can always wait until s2 to use the future epic selector chest there for him.

Zarloth gives some silence I think, it the way these guys work it just kind of stops them from doing it for a few seconds and then they can. So I suppose it spaced them out? Maybe that’s the trick for the ice blasts.
